The guest booked the hotel not through Wyndham New Yorker's hotel own website but instead of a different websiteThe cost for the room was $not $as noted in the complaintThe reservation was non-refundable and non-cancellable and the hotel does not guarantee a Empire State Building
ViewThe guest booked a classical room with square footage up to as noted on our own websiteWhile the room the guest was assigned at 10:30pm at night does have a scaffolding net, the view is not impededThe hallways are lit through out the hotel one way to create an ambianceAs the guest was offered other accommodations but was rejected, no refunded was provided as the reservation was non-refundable non-cancellable

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
First and foremost I was not provided with three (3) different room options but only two which were both inadequate and misrepresented from what I have originally paid forSecond, one of the worst issues in the room was a clogged water both in the bathtub and the sink of the hotel roomUnacceptable! I have told about this issue to the manager and he chose to ignore it.

*** ***, contacted the hotel on 1/**/17, requesting a full refund for is reservation. Guest claimed he was not provided a view room as he booked. He was not granted his request for a comp night as *** *** was provided different rooms, and all had a view which were
confirmed by a managerGuest was finally given a room with two double beds as there were no other options available to provide himThe hotel did what we could to satisfy the guest however he was unhappy with every view room provided

The guest was provided his original room type booking upon check-in at 11:46pm for a city view room. Guest was provide 3728 and was unhappy. He was then provide a Hudson River view, 2308 and again the guest was unhappy. Unfortunately there were no other view rooms available and therefore guest was provided a different room, 2929. From 11:46pm-12:12am the guest was provided 3 different rooms/ room types. When the guest called to complain after check-out, a manager went into the original rooms provided to ensure there were no errors in the system regarding the views. It was then confirmed they were view rooms. The hotel feels that we have done our part in trying to appease the guest however were unsuccessful. As the hotel did make efforts to resolve the guest's concerns, a refund will not be issued.
