In response to the complaint filed by customer [redacted] this is the position of Jamrock
[redacted]motive LLC; The vehicle a [redacted], [redacted] was purchased by [redacted] on March
24, 2014 from Jamrock [redacted]motive LLC, used car dealership under the...

"AS IS" clause and
service agreement limited liability 3 month or 3000 miles whichever comes first - which protects
internal lubricated engine and transmission parts. Before purchasing the vehicle, Mr. [redacted] test
drove the vehicle, checked under the bonnet and negotiatcd a price he was comfortable paying;
the deal was completed and he was satisfied.
On March 25, 2014 [redacted] called the dealership stating that the check engine light came on
and the speed-o-meter does not work and the vehicle smells as though something was burning.
She was told to bring the vehicle in for evaluation and the dealership would take care of the
problem if one was indeed established. The vehicle was evaluated and it was determined that
there was nothing burning; the speed-o-meter was working and the check engine light was due to
a sensor. The sensor was fixed. On March 31, 2014 [redacted] picked up the vehicle and left.
[redacted] then called back on the 31st' stating the oil light came on however she would let the
vehicle cool and check to see if oil was needed in the vehicle then she would call back, the
dealership never heard from her.
On April 9, 2014, she then called stating the oil light comes and goes and she would bring the
vehicle to be checked once more. She was told to bring the vehicle on April 12th and the
dealership would evaluate and once again take care of the situation for her, she agreed to bring
the vehicle between 10 and 11am. On April 11, 2014 she called to state she could not make the
scheduled appointment for April 12th and could it be scheduled for another day, the dealership
rescheduled the appointment for April 14, 2014. [redacted] nor [redacted] showed up and
never called to state either would not be able to make the appointment.
On April 16, 2014, [redacted] came into the dealership stating she took the vehicle to [redacted]
[redacted] ([redacted] parts store) to be checked, however, she was unsure what they stated was wrong, she
could only mention the words piston and oil light. She was asked if [redacted] gave her a print out
of their evaluation, she stated no and that they wrote it on a piece of paper; however she was not 
able to produce the paper or clearly explain what she was told. She then left stating she would
return to [redacted]; she never returned to the dealership with the information.
On Apri 16, 2014 [redacted] left a message stating she wanted to speak with one of the
owners. Upon one of the owners returning her phone call she stated "you will be hearing from
my lawyer" and she then disconnected the call without giving the owner a chance to speak.
It is the position of the dealership that we have gone above and beyond the requirements of the
"AS IS" clause for this person. The vehicle was sold with a service agreement which neither [redacted]
[redacted] (who legally purchased the vehicle) nor [redacted] has utilized. It is stated in dealership and
was clearly explained that there are no returns on a used car purchase and that the vehicle is 
purchased on an "AS IS" basis. Therefore the dealership has fully met its obligations on this product.
