in an all-day mediation at JAMS. Mr*** was represented by his lawyers at the mediation. The matter was settled at the mediation, the parties executed a settlement agreement and the settlement was paid to Mr***. Following receipt of Mr***’s complaint, JAMS confirmed with counsel that there were no problems or complaints related to the mediation and that the underlying lawsuit was settled at the mediation. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The matter was not settled and the settlement agreement is not valid. Fraud, illegality, and dishonesty took place during the mediation. JAMS did not provide the service as paid for and advertised. That is false advertising. There are numerous complaints on the internet about JAMS FALSE ADVERTISING. JAMS needs to refund me $1,750.00, my portion of the service paid for on 12/12/13, like requested previously.
