Review: I purchased a 1993 Toyota Celica on 3/15/14, that was taken back to the dealer to repair a front right passengers wheel bearing and timing belt. The dealer took the car in agreement to fix the problems on 3/18/14. Dealer is the mechanic and stated that he had replaced the wheel bearing and timing belt. He was not able to produce the old wheel bearing but did show a belt which he claimed was the old belt. On 4/14/14 The vehicle would not start and a call placed to the dealer/owner Imad Raheem, he was asked if the car could be towed to his shop where he replied, "no I couldn't that he was to busy". I stated that I need the vehicle repaired because it is my only transportation for work. He again stated that he was to busy and to call him back the following week. I at that time had the vehicle towed to Golden State Towing & Car Care Center. After a in-depth no start diagnostic it was determined that a faulty distributor which when the car was purchased it was stated that a "complete tune-up" was performed and the distributor was an original part. Also it was determined that the front wheel bearing that was to have been replaced was never replaced at all and due to the damaged to the hub because the bearing was completely disintegrated which destroyed the wheel hub. The Car Care Center also stated that the nut for the spindle was finger tight and that the wheel could have come of at any time. The total cost for these repairs was 947.10.Desired Settlement: At the time of the car breaking down, a balance of 350.00 was owed on the vehicle. I would like the pink slip for the car and a 0 balance due.
