The customer stated that a product was installedThe customer purchased floor mats for which there is no installation possible...you simply set them in your floorAs a courtesy to the customer, an employee did carry the product to the vehicle
and did dispose of the trashBut, only at the customer's requestAnd, only after the customer had seen the liner in his vehicleThe customer specifically ordered these liners to fit a vehicle that was equipped with the GMC under seat storage optionWhen the customer verified the part number with the manufacturer he again specified that he wanted the part number for a vehicle with the GMC factory under seat storage optionThe customer does not have the GMC factory under seat storage option and so in each instance he requested the incorrect part numberThe customer did receive the product he requestedHe simply requested the wrong productHowever, the manufacture does not have a specific part number to conform to a non-factory GMC storage boxIt was a full two weeks before the customer contacted Sportsland to inform us of any displeasureAfter gathering all the facts, one solution found would be to trim the liner to fit as nicely as possible since a custom fit liner is not availlableWhich is what Sportsland didBut, only after explaining everything as described here previously to the customer and receiving the customer's request and permission to do soAfter trimming the liner, the customer left saying he was satisfied and expressed no desire for any other resolutionSportsland's next experience with this customer is when we received a letter from the Revdex.com providing us with the accusations outlined in the customer's complaintThis Revdex.com letter was received over a weekend and before I could address the issue on Monday morning, the customer called asking for a refundI asked him why he did not let us know that he was not satisfied and instead went to the Revdex.com with the informationHe stated that if going to the better business would get him his money back, and I quote; "This was the right way to do things"So, after discussing with the customer how spreading statements and deception about a company that has spent over forty years building a reputation of trust within the community is never the right way to do anything, the customer promised to recant his complaint to the Revdex.com as and have the complaint removed from any public forumAnd, Sportsland agreed to refund the purchase price of the liners upon receiving confirmation from the Revdex.com that the customer had fulfilled this promise

First off I want to say I strongly believe customer service will make or break any company and I strongly believe thatI was told by the owner of this company that I lied on my better business report and I was told everything wrong that I didI have never had a Business owner talk to me like thatHe said they didnt install these floor matsIf you look up the word installIt reads to put inWhich they didNothing about install says wire up, screw in, or glueI will swear under oath that I told the truth and nothing but the truthWhen I went to order this productI came to this store and said the make, model, Year and body styleI told them they had installed a rollup cover and a under seat storage on this truck at their shop a month or so earlier I didn't say what brand just like they didn't tell me they didn't have any info about itI tought they would know what brand or make it was or they buyI was told weathertech had a new floormat to fit under the storage compartmentBut they would have to order itI didnt give them any numbers to orderThey ordered it for meI could have purchased it considerably cheaper direct from weatherteck but wanted to order her just incase there were problems In the reply it said I never said anything when I purchased these matsBut I did say something the day they were put in or installedDepending on your definitionThe day they were installed I didnt like the fitBut was told by the employee they will fit when they get hotSo I waitedJust like I complained about how the bed cover locksThe day I got itBut was told the same thingGive it timeBut with the cover it did start locking in different places in timeWhen I came back to get a refund I was told they couldnt do anything without the boxBut the day I complained wasnt told I should save the box incase I still don't like how they fitThis way I can bring them backJust give them time was all I was toldThem I was told by the employee that sold me everything and ordered everthingHe said he was a perfectionist about everything in his truck and cars and he could make them look good He said they need to cut And Velcro down to look goodI said I thought they were laser cut for this truckBut if you can make it look better and I will like it let's do itBut when he said he was done I looked un the truckAnd yes he cut them but they still stuck up and didnt fitI said I thought yousaid they would look good and you were a perfectionistHe didnt velcroed them downHis reply was we dont have velcroI was so upset I just leftI could see it was as I was first was toldThey eere not going to do anything and hoped the Revdex.com could helpBut now because not only do I now not have a box but I had a cut up floor matThat looked just as badIn so many words E pluribus unum
I have never been called a lier by a store owner, a boss or anyone in any type of Authority in my life and at I have bought probably more then my share of products for cars, trucks, Vans, boats, campers, and motor cycles not even talking about tools and suppies.cI have worked for major manufactures in multiple states but have never by anyone been told if I made a public apology and made a Revdex.com complaint completely disappear FirstThey would give me my money back but not untilMy integrity and the way I feel about customer service Will not allow me to do this thisNow if this company Sportsland Pickup Covers wants to give me my money backBecause they made a mistake or its just plain good customer service I will write that this complaint is resolved and I'm satisfied with the outcome and in the end they have good customer serviceI was not told to keep the box to bring it backI could even forget what they've have already said to meBecause maybe this young man may see how he was wrongAnd I will make a statement in this report with Revdex.com that it started off bad but in the end I feel they do have good customer serviceBut I will and can not lieI started buying from this company when they were in Sprimgfield and this is my first experience with there after service customer serviceSo I really hope they have good customer serviceBut to call a person a lier and tell them they did things wrong is not a good way to start your customer serviceIts ok your upset, what can we do to change how you feelYou don't have to like it but most companies and manufactures have realized this in timeHopefully before they go out of businessThis to me is only $But its the point of how to treat the customersThey should sit at Thompson GMCI would only buy from themThey have the best customer service and sales deptif they want to grow largerBut then I am just a this dissatisfied customer with my personal feelings and thoughtsI'm not the owner of a small company in a small town that needs people to drive for thirty mins just to buy something they now a days can buy online cheaperJust a tought froma guy thats been around the block more times then he can remember
