Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2015/09/21) */
We performed a standard clean for the client above. As per our usual procedure, we called the client AFTER the service to ensure the cleaning was up to our standards and they gave us raving reviews. The client calls us to say that a $1500 egg...

fell and broke EIGHT DAYS AFTER we left her house. I tried to explain it is impossible for us to take liability for something breaking EIGHT DAYS AFTER we left her home when we have no idea who has been in there and of course knowing the fact that she has children in the house. That did not make sense to her. I filed a claim with our insurance and they told her the exact same thing. It is unfortunate she attempting to tarnish our reputation with the Revdex.com and myself nor the insurance agency could explain to her why we are not liability for an item breaking EIGHT DAYS AFTER we leave. We have done all we can on our end by turning it over to the insurance company and they are now trying to reason with her. We have nothing left we can do as a company.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2015/09/30) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept this response. Something happened to that Egg while your cleaning person were here because from our cameras footage, it took them 20 minutes to vacuum that room and they kept looking in and out of that room. They even for some reason closed the door of the office while cleaning. Why do you have insurance in the first place? The company's subcontractor's insurance states that they only clean and dust things at eye level when my camera shows that they do not just dust things at eye level. Plus eye level is all subjective to how tall you are. Why is it that they dusted our air vents which are 7ft tall. Their insurance states that I have to prove that the cleaning people touched the egg while they were cleaning but I think stating that they clean our house is enough said. Granted that I don't have cameras in every room, but I do show the cleaning person taking a dusting stick and going into the room where the Egg was to dust. So I think it is a joke to say that you have to prove that the cleaning person touched something or stole something to get it covered. Not everyone has a camera in their house. Plus not everyone checks their house from top to bottom after every cleaning to ensure things are not broken or missing. On top of that, per my conversation with [redacted], he told me he would not charged me for the last cleaning service due to the incident. Well I checked my credit card today and he did charge me without sending an invoice and without my authorization. They say it's their words against mine but I think my word as a cliet has more credibility than their workers since I am not at risk to get fired or lose out on money. I am looking to take this to small claims court.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2015/10/22) */
We have already filed a claim with our subcontractor's insurance. The agents name is [redacted] and her phone number is [redacted] She is with [redacted] She reviewed the case and came to the same conclusion that an incident occuring 8 days after we left the property could not be placed on us. We have no idea who went into her house to touch this faberge egg or what could've occurred within those 8 days of us not being in her property. We have taken the last step we can regarding this claim by filling it with the insurance company. It is now out of our hands as to what they determine to do with the claimant.
