The tub leaks I ended up ripping up the floor we had just spent an arm and a leg on months earlier as well as removing the toilet long story short they cut a hole in the outside wall to discover there was a leaking jet which the tub manufacturer supplied them parts forWhen Jandel sent people to install the parts we discover ALL SIX JETS ARE LEAKING so the tub manufacturer decided the tub is faulty and is going to supply us with a new tub only The tub manufacturer will not assume the costs of removing or reinstalling the tub nor will they assume the costs of repairing and subsequent damage caused by their leaking tub You would think this is right about where Jandel Homes should be stepping in and going bat for a customer who just spent well over $200,dollars with them Nope , instead what they tell me is " There's nothing we can do , your warranty has expired and we can't dictate what the tub manufacturer's warranty is " Beware of this company they have an excellent salesman who was the only person there who gives a hoot and will bend over backwards for you ...once you're done dealing with him though prepare for one of the worst experiences of your life

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/01/15) */
We have reviewed the customers file and we have not found any correspondence that the customer had notified us of a smell in his home up until January 11, 2016. He did however, note while under warranty that there was a toilet flapper...

issue, in which we dispatched a service technician twice and found no issue and the homeowner concurred that the issue was resolved. The warranty on this home expired six months ago and therefore, any new warranty claims cannot be processed through the manufactures warranty and we advised the customer of this on January 11, 2016 when he called in.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/08/13) */
This issue was reviewed by the manufacture and we have requested a copy of the correspondence between our manufacture and the shingle manufacture. We will be contacting the client once we receive this correspondence.

Hello, sorry for not responding to this. I did not realize we need to respond under a time limit, so we would either like to have this reopended of a new one opened I guess. Jandel did make us a offer payout offer of $5000. However we have not accepted this yet as we have had a estimate done for the roof and replacement on it cost $7601.00. That still leaves us paying $2601.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2016/04/11) */
The roof can be repaired and does not need a full replacement. The manufacture has offered the homeowner a buyout or to have the roof repaired in the affected areas. The homeowner has denied both options.
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 15, 2016/04/16) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
We have decided to accept the $5000 offered and will put it toward the cost of a new roof, but still feel this is unfair. I expected better for purchasing a new home!
