My husband and I recently had the pleasure of working with the great staff at Winnipeg StoneTops when we purchased a new granite kitchen countertop. We placed our order with the very capable and friendly professional salesman who treated us both with understanding and dignity.
Once we placed our order, we were visited at our home by the fabricators who created a template for our particular kitchen to ensure that we would receive a perfect fit.
One week later we received a phone call by our salesman who wanted to inform us that there was a slight error made in the fabrication of the island and the modifications of adding the 1" width we requested were not made. The salesman was honest and asked that we come to the show room to view the finished countertop and to discuss a solution. The template was the same size as the old countertop we were replacing instead of being a little larger but it would be a good fit. We did not see a problem so decided to go ahead with the installation. The salesman offered a $100. discount for the error.
The fabricators then came out to the house and installed the new kitchen countertop. We are very pleased with the result. The fabricators were careful and efficient in the manner in which the workers worked installing the new countertop to ensure that we were happy. They were professional and took care to clean up after themselves.
