My experience here was absolutely greatShe understood exactly what I wanted and got my dress altered under rush! Will definitely come back again!

My daughter is tiny (size or double 0) For various reasons we waited until the last minute to purchase her prom dress Of course there were no sizes that small available in any dress, especially the ones that she liked We ended up getting a size 2, that was too big, not to mention way too long Several shops turned us down for alterations; not enough time, too much work, too complicated We took it to Jane on a Monday and she promised it back to us on Friday, with prom being on Saturday The dress was ready a day early and looked fantastic, like it had been sewn just for my daughter The hem was a tricky lace deal; Jane picked apart the lace, shortened the dress and put the lace back on Fabulous sewing! While at her shop, Jane showed us other dresses she was working on and even some that she had sewn using only pictures or an idea in her customer's mind I highly recommend her shop for regular alterations but especially for the tricky stuff that you want just right

My fiancée went to pickup her dress today She dropped it off over a week ago for alterations She was told that it would be ready by 10AM The dress was not touched at all during the time it was there When asked why the dress wasn't altered at all the woman's response was that she had been busy all week The woman then told my fiancée that she would have to come back tomorrow My fiancée informed her that it was impossible, the wedding is in days, and she has other errands to run tomorrow that she cannot reschedule My fiancée returned later to see that the job was rushed, of course, and asked to make corrections after each fitting The woman became obviously frustrated, and told my fiancée that what she wanted was "too much" My fiancée reminded her that she had a week to work on the dress That's when the woman actually threw the dress at my fiancée, and told her to get out of the storeThis obvious lack of professionalism, and punctuality to complete a job is an excellent reflection on the type of service you might expect if you wish to have alterations done here I would not recommend this store so that you also would not miss important deadlines, or treated with such blatant disrespect
