Horrible business, on police tow list , daughter was towed from accident on and the driver was hitting on my daughter after a horrific multi car crash! Car transferred to insurco's lot and guess what ; new jackets and boots were missing ! asked what initial towing about miand night storage would be and she quoted $550! These people are straight up bottom feeders, going to let Philadelphia DOT know about these thieves STAY FAR AWAY ps janeway ; all of the insurance co.'s that we were in touch with know about your antics and were VERY interested

Crooks and always have been. The only reason they stay in business is because they pay of officials to get contracts, and if that don't work they bully them with lawsuits. They spend a ton of money keeping the bad publicity way down the Google search engine list.

    [redacted] ’s vehicle was involved in an accident after normal business hours in the early evening in whitemarsh township pa.   janeway was contacted by the whitemarsh township police department whom we are contracted with and have a set rate schedule to tow [redacted] ’s vehicle.   the vehicle was transported to our facility and placed into a secure storage compound.   a woman claiming to be the owner had contacted janeway after 10amsaturday morning to retrieve the vehicle, she was informed that the office was closed and that we would reopen on monday morning at 8am.   the sign affixed to the entrance door prominently advises you of our hours of operation as being monday thru friday8am-5pm and saturday and sunday by appointment only!   in fact someone was in our office until 10am that day.   I can understand someone being upset that they were in an accident and their car was towed, but our policies are clearly displayed for everyone to read on our entrance door. [redacted] stated that the janeway rep told him “maybe you shouldn’t have been so irresponsible to get into an accident”.   after interviewing the other people in the office at the time [redacted] was at the counter, I have come to the determination that this is a blatant lie to exacerbate the situation. The employee explained that in pennsylvania the law states that it is the responsibility of the vehicle owner for all towing and storage costs associated with said vehicle.     [redacted] then used profanity at the employee who was being more than cordial with him and even told him to have a nice day. Those facts were conveniently left out of his complaint. In my review of the facts of this complaint janeway will not be issuing a refund of 100.00 for 2 days storage to [redacted] for the storage costs, as a matter of fact the vehicle was here for 4 calendar days.  friday sept 30,  saturday oct 1, sunday oct 2 and monday oct 3 2016. It is our belief that **. [redacted] and [redacted] . [redacted] are trying to use the complaint to the revdex.com and a complaint on janeway’s social media page as blackmail to embarrass us into refunding his money after a complaint to the whitemarsh township police fell on deaf ears. My car was in an accident, janeway towed the car and when I called to obtain my belongings out of my now totaled vehicle, they told me that they had filed abandonment papers and never heard from my insurance and that the car was then "racking up $800 in fees". I immediately called my insurance company, and when the insurance company was on the phone with them they were incredibly rude and stated that "oh now you want me to get out a calculator" when they had asked what type of fees they were referring to. It was negotiated that we would be able to pick up our belongings (a set of keys and an ezpass) from them on tuesday, being we were leaving for vacation tonight - this arrangement was set up by our agent, and then two seconds later the towing company called us after all was said and done and say they cannot hold it and we now have to pick it up tomorrow - thus changing our trip entirely. This is the worst and most crooked tow yard. You are better off just pushing your car whereever you want it to be yourself! Shame on janeway towing and their lack of customer service, and complete and total lying. I will be complaining about them and their business practices to whomever would need a service like this in the future. Terrible.
