We are sorry to hear about your recent experience at Sunbelt Rentals (Waukesha, WI) Before our equipment is put on rent, a certified mechanic goes through a pre-rent checklist Only after this checklist has been entered into our system, can we make the equipment available for rental We can be contacted at any time for service-related issues on our equipment when it is on the job site and provide corrective action in a timely manner We contacted the equipment manufacturer about the damage to the equipment, and they told our service department that the type of damage sustained on the unit usually happens when an operator is actively trenching and takes too sharp of a turn This causes the side plate and bolt to become damaged because of the torque on the machine A company representative should have gone through the piece of equipment with you when you picked it up In order to settle this manner, we can offer to perform repairs to the unit at no charge to your company Thank you, [redacted] District Manager – Sunbelt Rentals, Inc
