There were several inaccuracies in the statements made by *** *** in regards to time frame and vernacular used during conversation I have time stamped text messages and emails that prove otherwise, which are at this time moot
I have just received a refund from living social In regards to the gas money that was mentioned which *** *** indicated there was no request for reimbursement;
the following represents travel loss for *** from Lowell Ohio for two pointless trips at 90miles one way:
90miles x trips x $0.55/mile (standard repayment based on gas and vehicle wear n tear) = $ the following represents the loss in my travel from Coshocton to Columbus at miles one way:
x x $.055= $
Totaling: $
After compensation for our unnecessary travels, I would not expect *** *** to follow through on her offer for another photo shoot for another occasion I also found the offer in distaste due to the fact that no sane person would want to repeat such an experience nor trust the word of someone who has not yet been honorable I think that the offer was made knowing that a photo shoot would be extremely uncomfortable for both parties and unlikely result in a satisfying experience I believe the only way to correct this issue at this point is to compensate our losses

I am certainly not a flake or a fraud. I have many clients to which have found me and used my services through living social as well as many other places which I advertise. Yes, our first session was canceled due to weather. It had been raining (hard rain then a drizzle)
off and on all morning. I was corresponding via text messages with *** as we watched the weather. To my understanding we agreed it was best to re-schedule the session. I knew she was disappointed and venting, while emotion is hard to detect via text message, I could tell by her statements that she was angry. I certainly understood the disappointment but hoped she understood my reasons. One text even stated that I was unable to control the weather and how sorry I was. Once the rain finally quit, I was worried about the humidity out and my equipment. I did get the text message stating that the humidity had dropped, however it was hours after our scheduled session. There wasn't anything I could do. I need to add that later that day Katheryn and I communicated regarding scheduling. I offered to travel to them at my own expense. We settled on another date and time and didn't correspond any more. She didn't acknowledge my offer to travel to them.
The morning of our next scheduled session, I received a call (actually a voicemail since he called while I was unable to get to my phone) from my husband boss stating he was taken to the emergency room by ambulance. Nothing more, no further explanation. I called every number I could to try to find out what was going on. I wasn't getting any answer. I jumped in my car and headed to the hospital not even knowing which hospital he was at. I drove to the closest one to his work. He was there but I was asked to wait to see him. There I sat, waiting, no explanations, no idea of what was going on, nobody with me. I remembered my session with ***, so I sent her a text message simply asked her to request a refund. I couldn't go into details of what was going on. I was already in a panic and I couldn't debate with her. I figured I would call her once I knew more and could explain. I didn't get any reply back. A couple hours later, while still in the hospital with my husband, friends and family started texting me asking if I had seen the reviews posted on my facebook and pinterest page. I went to the pages and saw that *** and her fiancé had posted a review (much like the one posted here, but more harsh as to my character.) I deleted the comments and knew I had a much bigger issue with them brewing. I could not send messages to Katheryn (or Todd since he was the person who posted the comments) via Facebook. The only reason I can think of as to why I couldn't was that maybe he had blocked me from doing so. I decided to not try further and just let them receive their refund.
I redeemed the voucher from Living Social weeks prior to the original appointment time because they recommend that when an appointment is made, that you do so. My actions as to sending a text message just asking for her to request a refund were not professional. I agree. However, I am human. By no means am I a large scale photographer providing a service that would send a replacement photographer if something were to come up. All I have is me. With that being said, Katheryn should be able to get a full refund on her voucher with Living Social.
In response to the desired settlement:
A request can be made to Living Social for full refund.
As too the reimbursement for travel expenses, no monetary amount was mentioned.
As for life lessons in professionalism and common human decency being taught to me- I feel that is a bit harsh- and maybe once she understands the scale of which led me to cancelation, her common human decency instincts will kick in.
In closing I want to add that documentation can be given as to the accident leading to surgery. I definitely do owe a huge apology to *** and her fiancé, ***I can't imagine how they feel and I truly am sorry that this has happened. I can offer another session at no cost to them if they would like. I know it's not be the engagement photos they were hoping for, but would like to extend the service for a range of photography services I can provide.
As a consumer of many services myself, I totally understand the frustration this caused. I will do anything I can to make this right

Attached is the Facebook documentation regarding my follow-ups for the photos and then the refund since no photos are able to be provided by the photographer. Thank you

I am a bit taken back on *** response Damage was done when she posted comments on social media sites as well as to the Revdex.com that she thinks I am flake and a fraud. . She has announced to the world that she is not satisfied with me or the service I provide. This should be enough
I do not agree with the request of the mentioned compensation for travels. I have many outstanding reviews from satisfied people. I can honestly say that this experience with *** and *** has never happened. I have offered what I can at this time to try to make the situation better
