This is the worst company and customer service I have ever worked with!
I bought a $200 "Open" neon sign with Sunshine decor last April 2015 from "Tan International" (who's customer service is amazing and fast). The sign only lasted 9-10 months. I bought the sign when I opened my UV-Free Tanning Salon and Skin Care Spa last April 2015. I didn't know that Tan International distributed the Neon Sign for Jantec until it broke on Feb. 13th 2016 three weeks ago. Not only did the lights stop working from a faulty transformer but the acrylic that framed the sign was completely cracked and the sign could have fallen from its chain that was holding it on the window at any time. We could only conclude that the acrylic frame cracked due to heat stress. We also purchased another sign from them as well and have never turned the sign off. It is fine, no cracks whatsoever. I contacted Tan International about replacing or repairing the sign and they sent the info to Jantec to get the RMA number to replace the transformer. Bonita *. [redacted] (customer service rep for Jantec) took 4 days to get me an RMA# and when we discovered the cracks in the acrylic frame I sent pictures to show the damage. She then took another 4 days to respond and asked for more pictures.
Meanwhile, I had no "Open" sign for my store. I had to order a cheap Amazon.com "Open" sign, which came faster than Bonita's response. I told her what I had to do because she wasn't helping in a timely manner. In my email I told her to "just replace the damn Open sign..." and she told me to not use "foul language anymore." I emailed her that I'm human and trying to run a business with the best possible suppliers and am frustrated because of their slow response. She told me in her email that because of my using the word "damn" (foul language) that she is also human and was purposely slow to respond in repairing/ replacing my sign and that I would have to pay for all the shipping and packaging costs (approximately $100).
I am throwing the stupid sign away and keeping my $24.00 Amazon.com sign that works like a charm!
Bonita *. [redacted] and the rest of the people at Jantec will not stay in business very long with this poor quality in their products and poor attitudes with their customers. Karma is a [redacted]...(oops sorry I used foul language again...)
