My husband & I purchased a sectional couch in and added the [redacted] furniture protection We submitted two claims within years because the "leather" was coming off [redacted] replaced the piece both timesNow, years later the same piece looks horrible [redacted] refuses to do anything Havertys sent out a great technician who took pictures, adjusted one piece that squeaked badly and submitted his report Not minutes after the technician left, Havertys called and said, sorry, we can't help you I refused to accept this & wanted to talk to a manager They called me back & agreed to give me 50% off a replacement A couch should not look horrible being 2-years old The couch is poor, inferior quality, clearly not leather & made in China! It is not holding up to minimal wear for people They need to replace the pieces that are falling apart

Spent over dollars for a new couch and love seatNo even a year old and seat cushions are sinking, factory rep said thats the way the cushions do after you sat on them for a whileI thought thats why you buy them to sit onwasnt worth it

Consumer beware when shopping with HavertysThey promise you the world but then back down when it comes time to deliverI purchased a mattress and box setI then exchanged the mattress because after a month it started sagging and dipping giving a very uncomfortable night's sleepI only exchanged the mattress, but they charged me again for the boxAs of today, they don't want to credit my accountWaiting to hear from the CEOIf he does not resolve this, they will lose a customer for life

Bought two chairs,...paid over $cash One was severely damaged There were bolts underneath, only matched and the other bolt was different and was stripped Also, took the chair off the stand it was on and the "gear" part was sawed I took the damaged chair back, and was told that I couldn't have my cash refund back They said they would send a check within to days by mail This is NOT acceptable! I'm thinking about taking the other one back Not happy at all

Purchase furniture in March 2016, the sales experience was great, the delivery service was phenomenal, when they had to come back to make some adjustments they were very professional and polite. I would recommend shopping there anytime. I will not, likely, go anywhere else.

We purchased a traditional recliner about 14 days ago. When we got it home, discovered that it did not have arm covers or a head cover despite the fact it was upholstered fabric. We contacted the store to request covers only to discover the recliner did not come with these. We explained that we wanted to speak with our salesman. After several calls and a trip to the store, we finally spoke with him. We explained that we needed to return the recliner since it didn't have arm or head covers. He told us he could order the material and we agreed to keep the chair if he could get the material so we could have our own covers made for it. He was supposed to call us today to provide shipping information for the material (as he was supposed to the last two times we spoke), but no call or additional information. My wife and I have purchased a number of pieces of furniture from various stores and have never been treated like this by anyone. We have now made at least 14 calls collectively to the salesman, store manager, and customer service at Haverty's corporate. The issue remains unresolved.

Haverty's positions itself as a top flight furniture store, but our experience would suggest they should not be in business. We are extremely disappointed.

Not 10 minutes after the technician left, Havertys called and said, sorry, we can't help you. I refused to accept this & wanted to talk to a manager. They called me back & agreed to give me 50% off a replacement. A couch should not look horrible being 2-4 years old. The couch is poor, inferior quality, clearly not leather & made in China! It is not holding up to minimal wear for 2 people. They need to replace the 2 pieces that are falling apart.

Horrible experience. Bought 2 display cabinets from Havertys and when the lighting went out, we had a very difficult time getting them to stand behind the product. The furniture was through a vendor, Dresden but another company was actually the manufacturer. Havertys is only a third party showroom and once they sell you the faulty product, they couldn't care less. You're on your own. I wouldn't buy a placemat from Havertys after this.

I initially had a very positive experience at Havertys. They were running a promotion and I took advantage and bought $3000 worth of furniture through their finance company, Synchrony Bank. I should have came here and read the reviews on Synchrony Bank, 572 negative/20 positive/20neutral as of today. Unfortunately it didn't take long for me to become a victim of their poor business practices and lack of integrity. I missed a payment and made up for it the next month, sending 2 payments worth. The month after I paid almost double the min. payment, and today I sent $90. I also received a statement today that I owe $202 minimum, and my balance is going up instead of down. I called to speak with a customer service rep who offered to remove 2 of the late payments. I asked to speak with a supervisor to find out what the rest of the money they say I owe is. She (Natalie) was rude, she interrupted me again and again. She spoke over me, She would not accept that I have been paying more than what is owed. She told me that I have been paying late every month. Even after taking off the late fees, it won't count for anything this month, they still want their $202 this month and if they don't get it, another late fee. Nevermind where is this late fee coming from? My account should have been caught up the following month after missing that ONE PAYMENT. If not then, then surely the month after when I sent almost double again. Then when she asked if I had any other questions or concerns, anything else she could help me with, I told her how she hadn't helped me with anything, that she had been rude for repeatedly interrupting me and speaking over me, she sarcastically repeated her script that she "had asked if I had any other questions or concerns." I told her that was my concern, that she had been rude to me and I had lost all confidence in her and her company. She fake apologized that she was "sorry you feel that way." I don't feel that way, those are facts. That was my customer experience. And don't apologize for my feelings, apologize for your own actions. I have been attempting to catch my account up for several months now with no end in sight. Havertys got me in the store with their promotion and I had no idea what a hassle it was going to be dealing with their finance company. I was supposed to be able to pay this $3000 dollars out over the next 3 years at $85/month with no interest. I cannot afford to keep sending them what they are asking for. They will not even explain how I owe it. I had a lot of credit left on my account and had been considering going back to Havertys for a bedroom suite or new mattresses, but this experience has been a real eye-opener for me. I am afraid that Synchrony Bank is going to ruin my credit, and that is a risk I cannot afford to take. That means I can no longer shop at Havertys.
