Japan House Suites received a reservation from HotelCom for Mrs [redacted] , On May 05, 2017,12PM pacific time zoneReserved A king room, nights stay for check In May 05,to May 7,2017.Mrand Mrs [redacted] checked in our hotel around 5PM, We showed them the king room before theyaccepted the roomWe informed our guest during their check in to our premise that if they neededassistance at any time to please let us know, as we stayed on site and were here to server our guests, tomake their stay comfort.On May 06, 8:30Am, Mr [redacted] came to me and said he wants to check out and requested arefund.I asked Mr [redacted] , what is the dissatisfaction? He said no hot water and ants in the bath room.I said to him, would you like to change to another room? I will take care of the matter, shortly afterwardMrand Mrs [redacted] drove away, Meanwhile I am calling Expedia to cancel his reservationWithin ahalf hour of leaving we received a call from Mr [redacted] stating if we did not make a refund, he wouldwrite a bad review and call the heath dept.The housekeeper went up to clean their room (201} and found all the bedding off the bed and piledtogether on the floor by the refridgeratorUpon opening the pillinens the housekeeperdiscovered blood all over the sheets (a3ftx 4ftarea on the fitted sheet saturated in blood with splattermarks radiating out from thereBlood on the mattress pad, top sheet, pillows, duvet, and top blanket.The hot water was checked and there was no problem with hot water from either the sink or bathtub.There were other room stays the nite of the [redacted] s check in with no complaints of lack of hot wateror ant problemsWe believe their behavior was due to the mess and damage found in the room and theactions they are taking is their way of trying to avoid their responsibility for this matter.Mr.and Mrs [redacted] s reservation was made online with Hotels.com, they agreed to the cancelationpolicy before receiving a confirmation number.Sincerely:Kim K***

[redacted] That response is completely false. They never showed us the room before hand. We have photos and videos of how we left the room. Including a active video of the entire room as we were leaving.  There were no blood stained sheets, they told us they were going to charge us for incidentals BEFORE they reviewed the room after I told them I was going to file a complaint with the health department and better business bearu.  Please advise where we can send the videos for your review.  We have been in the hospitality and restaurant business for 35 years.  We have never encountered such disdain.Originally all we asked for was credit for 1 night.  The threats came after I told them I was going to publish the ant video and contact the health department.They said they recorded our phone conversation.  All you need to do is listen to it. Threats and everything are on it.Ridiculous.

Blood on the mattress pad, top sheet, pillows, duvet, and top blanket.The hot water was checked and there was no problem with hot water from either the sink or bathtub.There were 6 other room stays the nite of the [redacted]s check in with no complaints of lack of hot wateror ant problems.
