I always told *** I would complete the job this season Before the complaint was filed, we had scheduled her job to start on Thursday Oct Then in rained and we had to cancel for that day I tried calling her three times Sunday evening, wanting to schedule her job for
today, Nov3rd She refused to communicate with me, so two other customers are getting set up today, who have also been waiting If she will not work with me, then it is her that is breaching the contract, not I

The customer has many control joints that we put into his driveway Mother nature is hard on concrete Frost will sometimes produce hairline cracksWe provided everything we promised, and showed great workmanship, but, concrete cracks! It will not shift, it will not open wider than the hairline that it is, because of the wire mesh

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

My neighbor 1/2 block away had even a larger driveway poured on the same day by the same contractor ,Jarvis Lutynski. She experienced exactly the same winter I did. There are no complete breaks  except in the control joints. She received a good job, however my job has 5 squares with complete breaks not in the control joints  but running every which way. The contractor  did not get my job right.

In responce:  First of all, I did NOT address all "her" issues directly on Revdex.com, but I DID call her, and we discussed everything.  She agreed to do the job in the Spring 2015, if I would write her a letter stating that if something personally would happen to me, she would get her deposit back.   We were in total agreement on this.   But the very next day, she had someone by the name of Erica Avery write a complaint on Angies List, about [redacted]' contract....    [redacted] was called today, November 9th, and now she says she doesn't want it done next year.   She continually flip-flops.   I don't know how we can help her, but she does have a signed  legal contract.

The shutters have been repainted. Our service man came back to paint the door but the home owner was gone.  He is going there this weekend..

We were surprised to see this complaint because we understood that our service man had already taken care of this.  We immediately called the customer, there was a misunderstanding, and it has been resolved.

Review: HAD MY FRONT STOOP REPLACED ON JULY 13, 2015. MY WROUGHT IRON DOOR WAS BLACK DOOR BUT CURRENTLY IS GRAY WOULD LIKE IT BLACK AGAIN. MY BLACK SHUTTERS ON MY HOUSE ARE WHITE FROM THE CEMENT. FRAME OF DOOR ON HOUSE IS MISSING WOOD INSIDE & OUT. I ALSO HAVE CEMENT ON MY GLASS DOOR. I AM ELDERLY WOMEN THAT HAS *** *** AND THAT HARDLY MOVE AROUND.Desired Settlement: BEFORE THEY CAME TO DO MY STOOP MY HOUSE WAS IN GOOD CONDITION LOOKING NICE. THEY SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING MY SHUTTERS & DOOR & MY DOOR FRAME LOOK THEY WAY THEY DID BEFORE THEY STARTED THE JOB.. MY DOOR & SHUTTERS WHERE NOT GRAY AND MY DOOR FRAME WAS NOT MISSING WOOD. I LIVED HERE FOR 48 YRS AND MY HOUSE NEVER EVER LOOKED LIKE THIS. MY HUSBAND ALWAYS HAD THE HOUSE LOOKING BEAUTIFUL.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: Surface scaling appeared in several spots on the newly poured concrete driveway in the fall of 2012. This happened before winter freezing occurred. Repeated requests to fix the surface have been ignored or put off.Desired Settlement: Either refund or replacement are acceptable.

Re: Complaint ***

***

We contacted the Lutynski firm because of a good reference from our brother/sister-in-law, who were very satisfied a year or two earlier with their new driveway.
We asked Lutynski to remove a cracked, heaved, 'dished', broken concrete garage floor; they took away the 40+ year old floor and made a beautiful new one with 9 square sections -- with nice surface texturing, nice grading, and neat edging.
The employees arrived when they said they would, they were very courteous, informative, and patient with my many questions and frequent monitoring, and the entire crew worked (instead of a crew of workers with a cluster of 'supervisors').
They didn't ding anything, they didn't break anything, and they cleaned up their mess very thoroughly. They covered their pour with heavy plastic sheets to ensure proper curing. On a return trip they sealed the concrete.
I had been expecting a big mess with splashed concrete going up our block garage walls, but the crew were very neat.
They offered to do a little more grading free on our gravel driveway as long as one of their machines was idle part of the time. I accepted quickly!
They finished the whole project in one day, about three weeks ahead of schedule. The project was very well reinforced with a gravel base and there is reinforcing wire worked into the concrete at just the right height.
Our experience with their job was enviable.

Review: Concrete poured on 8/15/2013 for a new driveway. On 4/26/2014 I noticed breaks in 5 squares other then the scored areas. I e-mailed Jarvis/Lutynski 4/26/2014 of the problem. On 4/28/2014 I called Jarvis/Lutynski to come out and take a look. *** came out to take a look 5/9/2014 and told me I had a good job. I told him he did not get it right for the reason it broke in the wrong areas. Mr. *** followed up in the evening of 5/9/2014 with a harassing call, saying that if I would take this matter further he would be finished with me. I mailed a picture and a note to Jarvis/Lutynski on 5/10/2014 telling them the job only looked good if you didn't have to look at it. I have had no further contact since.Desired Settlement: To replace the 5 broken squares

Review: Company received deposit ($500.) 8/11/2014, signed contract to pour concrete patio. And 2 additional pads for $3900. estimated verbally 4 to 6 weeks to do job. OI called at 7 and 9 weeks and left request for a call back on answering machine. No response. On my 3rd call several days later I left a stronger message demanding someone. All me back. A day or 2 later an office person called and said scheduler was out of town and would call me the next week. No one called. I looked up other phone # on their website and left 2 or 3 more messages. 10th week *** called me to set up prep date. No one showed up the first promised time. 3 more promised times were cancelled, only one due to bad weather. *** also told me concrete was being rationed and he couldn' t promise he ould get enough when he was ready to pour and it might have to be postponed. He complained that he had no control over weather or concrete availability. But he had stated that concrete rationing just started recently and he certainly had fewer weather issues between August 11 and Oct.15th. When they cancelled today I asked for my deposit back as the weather would continue to be a problem. *** tried to change my mind and promised service but I don't believe he can promise that at this time of year. I insisted on a deposit which he refused. I I said I could take him to small claims court or a lawyer. *** insisted he didn't have to refund deposit and then hung up on me.Desired Settlement: I want Jarvis Lutynski Concrete to refund the $500. Deposit I paid them by check August 11, 2014 within the next month.
