The complaint has been resolved since the initial filing.  Exterminators were scheduled, repairs were made, expectations were explained.  The complainant was also offered a full refund if they did not want the apartment, but they chose to stay.

Review: I moved to [redacted] in September 1st. Before I moved in the attitude from the staff at this business is atrocious. Call the reception at anytime and you will always get attitude from the receptionist. Before I signed my lease I was threatened that if I didn't come on time that the person who was handling the signing of the lease would "turn me away" and I would lose my money. For the amount of money Jasco Management charges for a credit check you would think that you would be getting an amazing apartment. Not so.

When I moved in the tub faucet was leaking when I turned on the water and would stop running I asked the super about getting it fixed. I was told about a week later that Jasco Management came to fix the leak but no one was home. Well that would be true since no one spoke to me to schedule an appointment about getting it done. When I spoke to a woman who said she was in charge of the maintenance she also gave me attitude about getting the leak fixed. We agreed on a Friday for them to come and fix the leak with the understanding that I would be leaving by 12 noon because I have to work. I couldn't be there but my girlfriend could so I had her wait. She called me around 2 pm to let me know that no one showed up. There was never a notice left to say that someone came. No one called to say that someone came at a particular time to do anything.

Today I get a call from a someone called [redacted] who says he is the property manager and that he was calling about getting the issue fixed. While trying to explain to him what had happened he told me that he didn't care that about what happened and that he didn't know who I was talking about. Which made any sense. He talked about the issue getting fixed and after a few minutes on the phone I had to hang up on him. I called back to see who exactly is in charge of maintenance and I was put through to [redacted] again.

The unprofessionalism and attitude at this business is incredible.Desired Settlement: All I want is for them to do their job. They are already at work but they expect you to not work so they can come in and do what they have to do. That's great if you have unlimited time to waste but I don't and I don't know anyone who has time to waste either.

Review: I have recently leased an apt with Jasco mgt. The keys to the place were being offered to us on an earlier date, I had refused because when I saw the place there was waterbugs(dead) on the kitchen countertops. After a few days, we then accepted the key hoping the issue was resolved; To my demise, I opened all the kitchen cabinets, closets and there were dead waterbugs (numerous-more than 10 that I can count, larvae, feces even in the refrigerator. So we had complained and the Property Mgr came to the place and met me... Unprofessional, very defensive , lacking of manners and etiquette in dealing with customers. I had mostly cleaned out the filth and just wanted the place to be sanitized. He hired the cleaners at the last minute (only to clean the kitchen) that I had to drag my 2 kids from school to stay and watch them until 10pm, He talked about exterminator to eval the place, they never came; He spoke of window screens to be fixed (i have several windows with screens that are inappropriate in size), nothing happened; turning the intercom on, been here for 3 days still nothing despite the fact that we call them everyday; talked about replacing oven burner covers, still waiting; I am frustrated and tired. I feel like we were treated unfairly. Last but not the least, the way the Property Mgr spoke to me and I will quote every single word. In response to the place being sanitized;"I cannot give you a brand new apartment", In response to the waterbugs, feces and larvae;"This is not an infestation"; In response to the slow bathroom drain;"It drains"; In response to why the place was so filthy;"Well you guys took the key earlier and didn't complain about it"; I am utterly DISGUSTED WITH THEIR SERVICE AND ATTITUDE.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to do what is right and do their job. I deserve a decent apartment. We had left msgs and no one had replied by far. I would like someone to give us the service that we deserve.

Review: I am a Retired widow with a provable income of $5500 per month, however, I was refused an apartment that was only $1,170 per month . They stated that their criteria was 3x the rental to qualify, which I surpassed. They asked me to provide bank statements of 3 months which showed constant deposits. I complied and my income showed 5x the rent. However, I was denied and was told that they could only accept my Social Security income which would qualify me to rent an apartment for $500 per month. And although I have over $350K in assets, and over $30,000 in cash on hand, they said they do not count that. How does a Retired person such as myself is supposed to qualify with these terms. They also never looked at my Credit Report they said it did not matter.

I want to file a formal complaint with the NJ Board of Realtors. I feel I was a victim of discrimination and misrepresentation.Desired Settlement: To find me an apartment and waive or pay for any fees that may be required.
