March 22, 2018Via Email Only [redacted] ***Revdex.com [redacted] ***Oklahoma City, OK 73102RE: Complaint ID [redacted] Dear Ms***:Jasco Products Company LLC (“Jasco”) received the referenced complaint from the Revdex.com (“Revdex.com”) forthe first time by e-mail late in the day on Tuesday, March 20thThe complaint states it was received by the Revdex.com onFebruary 28, Please ensure to timely submit all complaints involving Jasco to my attention at [redacted] @byjasco.com to avoid future delays and to comply with the obligations the Revdex.com has chosen to undertake.Jasco tested the surge protector submitted by Mr [redacted] and found both the power and surge protection on the unit to beundamaged and working properlyJasco also identified extensive intentional damage done to the surge protectorForinstance, many of the components were physically dislodged from their respective original manufacturer’s placementInaddition, Jasco’s engineer who analyzed the unit states if the surge experienced a high energy event, such as a lightingstrike, there would be evidence of de-soldering or blown traces, none of which are present in the unitThere are also nosigns of a high energy event affecting the leads, bottom side of the capacitor, or PCBThe physical damage to the unitvoids the manufacture warranty.In addition, Mr [redacted] ’s initial claim was reported to Jasco on October 4, However, the items Mr [redacted] assertswere damaged and is demanding be replaced were all purchased by his own admission after the date of lossHis Galaxyphone for instance was purchased on March 12, 2017, over five months after he reported his claim to JascoMr [redacted] ’sclaim was not denied for a spelling mistake as he alleges, but for submitting a fraudulent claim as clearly shown byJasco’s analysis of the surge protector and his own admissions.Nothing contained herein constitutes an express or implied waiver of any rights or remedies of Jasco, all of which areexpressly reserved.Best regards, [redacted] General Counsel, VP Legal Affairs

The connected warranty on this product being complained about expressly states it will not afford protection when lighting strikes nearby The consumer stated lightning hit a tree near his home, and the surge protector warranty expressly states will not protect against lightning strikes and
that the warranty is void if damages results from a lighting strike Jasco informed the consumer his claim was being denied by letter dated November 11, If the consumer would like another copy of the letter he may contact Jasco customer support at ***

I am rejecting this response because:I feel they failed tostate on the package that they recommend the protector for smallappliances like a toaster and TVs need at least joules before they cover damages to TVs.Also they only tested mine up to the joules sothey didn't know if it took a harder hit even when the switch was flipped off after the powerwent off and then came back onThey alsotook weeks to get my replacement protector to me when I was told I wouldn't getit in a weekAfter repeated emails asking where it was and told it was out ofstock I had to call asking where it was I was told they had coming and I was on the list to getoneAfter my last call they said they thought it had been shipped and had to place a special request in to getone sent to meNot good customer service or labeling on their package I made sure my TV now has a joules protector on it.

Jasco talked to Ms*** on September and sent a claim form for her to complete to the address she provided UPS overnightUPS shows delivery of the package to Ms*** on September Jasco has not received the completed claim
form back from Ms*** and cannot process her claim until it is provided

I am rejecting this response because:It does not "expressly state" it Where does is "expressly state" itAnd what is the definition of a nearby lightning strikeThere is no definted area or distance stated anywhereThey can claim ft away or miles awayThey basicly sell a lie as the surge protector did not protect against a surgeOur house did not get it, our lines did not get hitIt was a tree that has no connection to our house or linesTheir device failedIt should not be called a surge protectorIt should be called a power stripThat is all it doesA terrible company who will never receive my personal or company's business again

I am rejecting this response because: They told a lie from beginning and I used a smart phone to first place claim. Written response I sent was correct simple spelling. I was recovering from Chemo treatment and I was a USAF and National Guard Soldier. Respect goes a long way. They didn't show much professional treatment. I won't accept response. Jasco received the product at issue from the
complainant and after testing determined the product is functioning properly
and without defect. Jasco reported its findings to the  complainant and that it is unable to process
his claim for money at this time because the issue he is having is...

not from
using the CD cleaner discussed in his complaint. Jasco has closed its file on this matter. Please contact me by

I am rejecting this response because: Again I did not receive any test results this company may not be truthful in there so called test obviously the device is detective if only the equipment connected to it was damaged. I do not accept this excuse of the device was...

tested and found not defective. I want the full results of all test performed on the device including the detailed results of the loads placed on the devices that proves it was not defective. I also still have not received the device back as well so that I can have my own test run at a third party?
