As customer [redacted] stated she bought the car from [redacted] in March of with no warranty [redacted] did not have any out of pocket repairs done at Jansen's Automotive [redacted] had it serviced in late February When [redacted] first called me in late Aug I believe it was She explained who she was what car she bought and that her son had over heated the car She told me she called [redacted] and was told it was sold As/is and she was on her own, so with that said she figured to call Jansen's Auto because we had made overheating repairs to car & see if there was anything I would do I asked her what happened, where it was, and explained to to her that there was no warranty on the work, that if it was installed wrong they would not have drove the car for months She explained it was for her son and I told her again there's nothing I can do but if you shop sees something wrong with the gaskets let me know then & only then if there is something defective I might be able to push the parts supplier to refund me or give me all new parts Apparently she paid for the job to her shop for parts/labor and a month or so later dropped off parts for inspection, witch I wanted right away before it was fixed to try and get her a new set so she was not out of pocket but that's not what happened We texted several times about the issue and if she was going to see any compback for parts I told her I was trying to get refund with the company we bought parts from Around December we talked and I told her that I could only get a credit for parts or a new set, since you fixed it that does you no good I told her I would give her money out of my pocket at my cost for the parts because I felt bad She said I will let you know I don't know what to do Weeks past and we finally come together that I would pay her for parts at cost and only parts She said I understand you made it clear or what your doing I got her address and told her I would mail the check out that week Week of Feb 8th I believe During that week we had a family problem and our pop was taking to Hospital, then to a home were we spent most are time tin he pasted away a few weeks ago Unfortunately with all that going on I turned all the bills over to my g-friend The debt to [redacted] was something I was handling and I simply forgot about it [redacted] was never cheated out of any money, nor did she have any repairs done out of pocket at my shop I was simply trying to do all the right things and help her She agreed to the refund of parts money at dealer cost (copy included from text messages) I have contacted her and told her what happened & that I was sorry it was not sent She seemed angry witch I understand but I have stood true to [redacted] & the agreement of the parts refund The check for the parts has been mailed to [redacted] 4-5-and payed out of my Jasen's Auto Acct This was the agreement form us I just didn't mail it in a timely manner 4-5-16Jansen GOwner
