The reason we rejected is to we are out of pocket and of course our car did not meet expectations and the shop should be liable for some if not all expenses regarding rentalToday they called and are requesting a total of for deductible and it is through AllstateWe are very dissatisfied with the serviceThey called and said the car was ready and when I arrived and asked to see my car for inspection they stated I could not and that we had to pay all funds owed and sign all paperwork before we are allowed to come in contact with vehicleI told her that that doesn't sound legal and I personally recorded the conversationShe stated once we handled all paperwork we could see they vehicle and would have to leave once it was brought aroundThis is so distasteful to operate in such a mannerWe would like to seek advice as to how to handle this situationWe talked to the allstate rep and he stated that he disagreed with this practice and he to would be upsetPlease contact me at your earliestWe called your office a few times but was unable to reach you so we left voicemailsThanks for your valued support[redacted] T [redacted] Supervisor [redacted] ( [redacted] ( [redacted] (cell)

On Thursday June 30, Mrs [redacted] came in the shop and after a lengthy discussion about her vehicle with customers in my office, I called the Revdex.com because I did not know how to respond to Mrs [redacted] While in she shop she said she was not concerned with the rental car expenses I explained to her that the rock chips were not part of the claim that if Allstate wanted to include that they could and we would be happy to repair them and the sunroof has not been addressed by the insurance as part of the claim or a maintenance issue We were going to clean her drain tubes for her as a courtesy, but the drain tubes are in the quarter panel and the headliner would have to be dropped to do so We are not willing to do that without being paid to do so I have asked her to write down any of her complaints and with their direction was told that she needed to submit to them in to the Revdex.com She came on Friday with Mr [redacted] and I explained to them that they needed to send their complaints to thee Revdex.com I called the Revdex.com today and to date they have not submitted those to them I have called Allstate and an adjuster is coming out to look at the sunroof as part of the claim I had initially asked for an adjuster to come out on my supplement and [redacted] from Allstate requested someone to come out and they never did

[redacted] from Allstate came out this morning to address issues with the car.  He told us he could not force us to do anything he could make suggestions and it would be up to us to decide whether to agree. He suggested to us that we buff the r side and touch up the appliques align the r fender and vaccum and wipe down the inside of the vehicle.  He said we do not need to clean the carpets.He said he could only address issues that were paid on his estimate and Allstate does not pay to repair rock chips.  The chips that Mr [redacted] is speaking of on the door [redacted] suggest we take some black paint and touch those up because Allstate was not paying to replace them.  If Mr [redacted] would like them replace he can pay to do so.  I have already offered to touch them up the Thursday they were here and they did not want that. But we will be glad to do so.The Sunroof [redacted] said he would have to get back with [redacted] to see if they would include that on the claim.  He suggested to us to have the dealer look at it and if there is something mechanically wrong they would pay for it but if it were the seals and clogged up that Mr [redacted] would be responsible because it was a maintenance issue.  He suggested that we not do the work they could pay the dealer direct if it were covered! So that it what we prefer to do at this time.[redacted] said Mr [redacted] had a problem with the alignment of the driver rear bumper and I showed him the picture of when it was brought in and it looks exactly like when it was brought in.  [redacted] has shown Mr [redacted] where that quarter panel has been repaired prior to it coming to this shop.  All we did was refinish that quarter panel.  No repair!  We brought [redacted] the old bumper and there was no damage to that side of the bumper.  Allstate will not be responsible for the prior damage to the L side.  Jasper Like New will not be responsible for correcting that repair.     I will be forwarding you a copy of the emails where not only I have requested an adjuster come out but [redacted] from Allstate requested it also around June the 8th after I sent my supplement which said it on it. Today when the Allstate adjuster was here he noticed that not only had they taken off the repair of the quarter panel they had not paid for the repair and refinish of the L fender.  We will not be responsible for the rental expenses.We will buff the right side of the vehicle and vacuum the inside and wipe the vehicle down and touch up the chips on the applique as suggested by Allstate.  We will call the customer and notify them when it is complete sometime next week.  At that time Mrs [redacted] needs to sign our paperwork and pick up her vehicle.  If the car is not picked up and paid for at that time we will be charging 25.00 a day for storage of the vehicle.  I think I have addressed all the concerns that Mr [redacted] has brought up to the Revdex.com and to Allstate and will be calling him when whey are complete. You should be receiving an email with these attachments and the forwarded emails from allstate. All we did was remove and install the door trim panel this is from wear and tear.[redacted] said what he saw was not the hood it was the r fender needed to be lowered about a quarter of an inch.I will send a copy of the rental dates which shows they were in their rental 14 days before they brought the vehicle to the shop on 5-12-2016.  No shop coverers rental expenses so we try to let our customers know not to get into the rental until you drop the vehicle off.  I had no idea they were in the rental.  Usually the insurance companies will not approve the rental until it is dropped off at the body shop and any parts are ordered and here at the shop unless the car is not driveable and they must have a car.  The [redacted]s vehicle was drivable.The pictures of the vehicle that I'm sending are of the vehicle not washed so there is some compound that will be washed off before it is completed. It only allowed me to send 4 photos so I will email them directly.

I am rejecting this response because: Car hood needs to be aligned, trash under clear coat and or paint, back bumper not aligned or uniform, sunroof needs to be fixed as agreed, wax in numerous spots of car, dust particles through out car from paint shop, chrome lose on hood, carpet still not cleaned and agreed by Like New, chips on door facing where paint has been nicked, spots on hood needs attention as to they were not there prior to me taking it to body shop. Reimbursement for time and money spent over the 38 days that Allstate gave them to repair my car as to we are out of pocket due to their lack of concern and diligence concerning the completion of my vehicle. We have paid out of our account 839 dollars if no mistake after the 38 days that we were given from allstate which included to extensions. It was stated that my wife said she was not concerned about rental but that was taken out of context as to they were engaged in another conversation which warranted their attention at the moment and was concerning the repairs needed.

Today they called and are requesting a total of 900.00 for deductible and it is 500.00 through Allstate. We are very dissatisfied with the service. They called and said the car was ready and when I arrived and asked to see my car for inspection they stated I could not and that we had to pay all funds owed and sign all paperwork before we are allowed to come in contact with vehicle. I told her that that doesn't sound legal and I personally recorded the conversation. She stated once we handled all paperwork we could see they vehicle and would have to leave once it was brought around. This is so distasteful to operate in such a manner. We would like to seek advice as to how to handle this situation. We talked to the allstate rep and he stated that he disagreed with this practice and he to would be upset.
