Yesterday, at 3:and 3:Regional Finance Company tried to
call me and I was working and unable to take the callsI returned their call after work at 5:and spoke with ***, who asked me if I ever signed anything upon delivery of the mattressWhen I told her that I hadn't, she said that according to her corporate headquarters, then, I am not liable to pay themShe said they are not funding the sale and that they will not be sending me a bill or try to collect any payment from meShe said that they had already spoken to Mr*** and informed him that they are not funding the mattress*** tried to tell me this at 3:and 3:pm when she attempted to reach me by phoneConveniently, at 4:yesterday afternoon, Mr*** texted me photographs of my supposed contract after I asked for copies to be delivered to my office and he agreedThis is in writing on Richard's List and/or For Sale or Wanted in SETX on Facebook, where he also PUBLICLY responded to my review of his business with how much I spent and said that "my credit wasn't good enough" to be approvedI am highly offended by him airing out my personal business and lying about my credit score to strangersHe knows that my credit score is and told me in his establishment Saturday that it is a good score, which is why he offered me the 0% in the first place. The photos he sent me of the document show a photocopy of the invoice I left with you, except that this one has my signature in two places and is an obvious photocopyI never signed this document, as you know based upon the original copy you have in your possession, and the second signature certainly does not look like mineI think he forged my signatures on that form in a desperate attempt to be funded or paid after speaking with *** at Regional FinanceHe didn't forge my signature on the line agreeing to buy a mattress protector, however, in an effort to pretend that I voided the main warranty and that I now disqualify for the night guaranteeWe were told by *** *** that we paid for the mattress protectorHe handed it to us himselfIt's currently on the mattress and we have never slept on itWe washed all the free sheets and the mattress protector according to their instructions as soon as the delivery guys left our houseWhen we went to put the protector and fitted sheet on is when I noticed the tag said "Dan Elias Sleep," a different brand than we chose at the store. Furthermore, *** only presented pages of documents to me that required a signatureWhen he sent over the photos of my contract via text message yesterday afternoon, terms were printed on pages I HAD NEVER SEENTherefore, I did not have an opportunity to read themThe only page of the document that shows any financing information that includes my signature in his photos, IF it is the actual page that I signed in his store, is a page that upon signing, he leaned over and said, "Now this is the tricky partYou have to sign really really small here." I think he purposely covered up the terms and diverted my attention to the difficulty of signing in what really wasn't that small of a spaceIt was a con artist moveHe never said the terms aloud, I never saw any numbers and I know I definitely didn't see at least out of of the pages he sent me photographs of, all of which included terms and interest rateIf I had seen 20% and $1,of finance charges, I would not have signed*** says that he has video and audio footage of our entire visit and the transaction and I would love for you to see it. I contacted Old World Bed Coyesterday evening via email asking if they do business with Texas Mattress Direct in Beaumont and if they indeed sold their patent to A&M Mattress CoThe response in my inbox was from *** *** himself. I’ve attached the photos of the documents he sent to me as well as all correspondence aforementioned aboveI can only attach at a time, so I will attach more in a separate correspondence. At this juncture, since we have not slept on the mattress, we did buy a mattress protector and put it on the mattress, return policy was never presented in writing or verbally discussed with us, the mattress delivered is not the brand that we chose in the store, and Regional Finance Company is not funding Mr***, I think the best and easiest thing for everyone is for Mr*** to have the mattress picked up by his delivery team and we can all move forward
