Service provider LETTER OF COMPLAINT re: HRS HEATING AND COOLING - Dark Star Ct, New Whiteland, IN This letter of complaint is formal notice concerning HRS HEATING AND COOLING On July 20, HRS came to my home to service my furnace The technician from HRS told me that he could not properly test the two issues that were deemed faulty: 1) blower motor and 2) limit switch - Because the temperature outside was so high it would not allow the cold air return duct to trigger the furnace to turn on and therefore he could not check the motor and limit switch I had experienced an issue where the furnace would not turn off causing an extremely elevated gas bill ***, a reputable heating and cooling company performed a clean and check and related the furnace issues to me that needed to be addressed(see attached) HRS contended the furnace had no issues, but how could that be when the technician stated he could not properly check the unit because of the high outside temperature Soon after the technician departed the residence, the owner of HRS, Jeremiah telephoned and was extremely rude! He repeated over and over, “You did not pay!You did not pay!You did not pay!” I told him the deductible was paid and to contact [redacted] to confirm I was very shocked that a service provider could be so aggressive with a customer The technician wrote on the invoice that the blower motor tested fine and that isn’t true – They were paid and the job was not incomplete The high limit switch was never tested nor any other furnace component Is there an amicable solution to this issue? Can my furnace be properly tested for issues please? I was asked by the tech if I wanted to price out a new furnace Why would I need a price on a new furnace if the old unit could be repaired and if the old unit was not repairable, why did he say it was fixed It appears as a warranty provider - HRS has one focus and that is to convince the customer there is an issue with their old unit in an attempt to have the customer sign an agreement for a new air or heating unit There are other companies....I would never recommend HRS
Awesome work, They were on time, super nice and knowledgeableHad everything fixed and back up and running and gave me some great advice for maintenanceHad everything back up in running in an hour
Great service Best prices by far The owner Jeremiah is very honest and is more then willing to work with you on your heating and cooling needs He does not try to up sale you on components you do not need
Service provider LETTER OF COMPLAINT
re: HRS HEATING AND COOLING - Dark Star Ct, New Whiteland, IN
This letter of complaint is formal notice concerning HRS HEATING AND COOLING
On July 20, HRS came to my home to service my furnace
The technician from HRS told me that he could not properly test the two issues that were deemed faulty:
1) blower motor and 2) limit switch -
Because the temperature outside was so high it would not allow the cold air return duct to trigger the furnace to turn on and therefore he could not check the motor and limit switch
I had experienced an issue where the furnace would not turn off causing an extremely elevated gas bill
***, a reputable heating and cooling company performed a clean and check and related the furnace issues to me that needed to be addressed(see attached)
HRS contended the furnace had no issues, but how could that be when the technician stated he could not properly check the unit because of the high outside temperature
Soon after the technician departed the residence, the owner of HRS, Jeremiah telephoned and was extremely rude! He repeated over and over,
“You did not pay!You did not pay!You did not pay!”
I told him the deductible was paid and to contact *** to confirm
I was very shocked that a service provider could be so aggressive with a customer
The technician wrote on the invoice that the blower motor tested fine and that isn’t true –
They were paid and the job was not incomplete The high limit switch was never tested nor any other furnace component
Is there an amicable solution to this issue?
Can my furnace be properly tested for issues please?
I was asked by the tech if I wanted to price out a new furnace
Why would I need a price on a new furnace if the old unit could be repaired and if the old unit was not repairable, why did he say it was fixed
It appears as a warranty provider - HRS has one focus and that is to convince the customer there is an issue with their old unit in an attempt to have the customer sign an agreement for a new air or heating unit
There are other companies....I would never recommend HRS
