I believe a manager has addressed this complaint over the phone to our member's satisfaction

occurred in our credit reporting system during a credit bureau upgradeA correction has been submitted on the handful of

I am rejecting this response because:I would like to be refunded the $fees I was charged due to funds not being transferred to my checking accountI was offered a reimbursement of one fee but I would like to have a full reimbursement of the $in fees and not the $I was offeredI'm also in the process of preparing to close on my home and the negative transactions can impact my closingI have initiated the changing of my direct deposit from savings to checking to avoid this from ever happening to me againThis is my first and last time ever being in this situation.

I have researched the transactions in question, spoken with the Director of the Contact Center, ***, and reviewed the notes on the account.During the call on Jan 24th the representative agreed to send a new debit card and waive the fee for expedited delivery- upon receipt of documents from the
member to verify a new addressOn Jan29th, the documents were received and the card was ordered with a 3-day delivery, as promisedHad the change of address documents been received when requested, on Jan 24th, there would have been plenty of time for the card to arrive before the cruise dateThe replacement card order was placed on Jan 29th - when the documents were received. Even then, the card would be produced by the manufacturer on Jan 30th, and the fastest 2-day shipping could not have gotten the card to the member before the cruise date of Jan 31st We apologize that the card could not be produced prior to address verificationThis is an example of why it is so important to make sure that your financial institution has your most current contact informationIt is advised to always notify your bank/credit union as soon as a phone number, address or email address is changedThis allows your financial institution to reach you in cases of possible fraud, helps to safeguard your account from identity theft and allows them to quickly respond to any needs you may haveAnother best practice for travel is the use of a pre-paid debit cardThis provides members the convenience of a debit card, helps to keep the vacation spending budget on track and adds an additional layer of security in case the card id lost or stolen

Complaint with consumer
Some shoes on eBay*** had charged me a $Because they thought I had somethingWhat's today when I checked my account I was charged to intercept fees of $from Jax FederalWhen I found out that *** had charged me those fees I called them and made them aware that I did not sell the productThey were happy to remove all fees that was on the *** accountBut I had asked *** about the $and they told me that those charges are Jax FederalCredit union and they have to reverse the $Jax Federal credit union refused to give me my money back after *** seen that it was there are for using *** to trying to receive $that I didn't knowJax Federal Jax Federal keeps putting it on *** and *** but is their charge that they put on me

After thoroughly researching the issue, I have confirmed that the unused proceeds from the loan (the remaining $1300) were already applied in 2015 which reduced the deficiency balance on the loan. In order to remove the debt from the credit reports, the member needs to work with Jax Federal Credit...

Union to repay the $10,073 owed on three separate loans and we will report the debt as being paid.

We are sincerely sorry for the mistake and the way our employee mishandled the entire new debit card account opening. [redacted] is a new employee in training and it appears she is not ready to be independent just yet. The branch manager has been notified of the issue and will work on more training and...

coaching to see if [redacted] can meet our high standards for service in the future. Also, I have met with an operations manager to add a check for quality control on the ordering of debit cards in the future. We are also planning to invest in instant issue printers at each branch so we can print debit cards on the spot - rather than sending them from our processor in 7-10 days.  I appreciate the feedback and the opportunity to correct our mistakes and make our service better in the future. consumer banking, "Regulation D" often refers to §204.2(d)(2) of the
regulation, which places a limit of six withdrawals or outgoing transfers per
monthfrom a savings account.
This transaction limit imposed by federal regulations does not allow for
flexibility once the limit has been...

reached. However, the intent of the law is
to prevent savings accounts from being used as transaction accounts. By
shifting direct deposits and transactions to a free checking account and
maintaining sufficient funds, fees can easily be avoided as there are no transaction limits on a checking account.
We would be happy to provide a form that can be given to HR or Payroll
Processing to shift direct deposit to a checking account to allow unlimited
transactions. This would allow for easier account management and is a great
strategy to help
avoid fees
going forward.  I can understand how having to pay fees due to the impact
of reaching the Reg D limit on your account can be frustrating. Please let us
know if we can provide you with the form.
