I was referred to this office my previous Physician who closed his practice My first time, I was in the office for three hours That's right, not one, two but THREE HOURS!!! Of course, that was after I was sent upstairs and then downstairsAt that time, I was told by the doctor she wanted me to follow up with a Cardiologist She would have me referred The second visit, the Office Staff was one that needs work I stood at the window for a few minutes before I finally spoke up because the girl behind the counter never acknowledged me How is that for customer service? That was downstairs Then, I went upstairs to check in Remember, all of this is still new to me I checked in and I can say there was at least people behind the window and only one working No one seemed to really care Later that day, I get a call from the Cardiologist that I was referred to with an appointment date This was done of my own accord About minutes later, I received another phone call from the Cardiologist and they said they were "not in network" and I would have to pay out of pocket I said no I called back to Jaycare and told the person that I spoke to that I needed for them to refer me to another Cardiologist that was "in network." I was told they would get back to me I have never heard another word I have since tried to call and make and appointment with my doctor without a co-pay to tell her what is going on thefollow up on the Cardiologist appointment and I was told that I would have to pay a co-pay and my insurance would be billed What a farce! I called and left a message for the Office Manager As usual, with everything else, I didn't get my hopes up to expect a callback and I haven't I will say this If something happens, I will personally hold them liable and responsible for their neglect, lack of professionalism and failure to follow ethics Licenses should be revoked for not following through with these cardiologist appointments
