Company is not refunding for the power wheel chair that is not working properly. Company provided no receipt/return policy with purchase.
I purchased a *** Heavy Duty Power Chair, Product # ***, on ***, paid $*** with credit card. It was delivered on ***. I called that day to have the scooter repaired due to the joystick not working properly. The service technician came out on *** and stated it was fixed. After he left the joystick still was not working properly. That technician no longer works there. The company does not keep power chairs in stock and I am not physically able to travel to test power chairs. I called *** and requested that the company refund my money and pick up the power chair that has not been used. ***, store manager, stated he would check in to it. Called and spoke with ***, Sales manager, and he stated that there would be a % restocking fee for the amount of $***. The return policy was never mentioned during the purchase of the power chair and I received nothing in writing stating the companies policy. I have called multiple times a day from ***-*** asking when the refund would be and *** states they are still waiting to hear back from the owner. *** came to deliver the straps for the van that we leased, he stated that they were still waiting to hear from the owner on the refund of $***. He stated he would call us when he heard something on the refund. *** I called to inquire about the refund and the same excuse was given, that the manager was not available and they would check into the refund. I received no receipt or any documentation for the purchase of the power chair.

Desired Outcome

I am requesting a full refund of $*** for the *** Power Chair, Product # ***, and the company pick up the power chair from my residence concurrent with me receiving the refund. I received no policy information on returns either verbal or written when I purchased this power chair, thus I should receive the full refund.

Our company policy is posted at all locations and clearly states "All Cash Sales Are Final" We initially offered to exchange the power chair, however after speaking with Mrs. she said it just wasn't working in their home as her husband thought it was too long. We offered to trade her into a different model, but she declined and said he would just use his old chair. These customers came to our location and selected this chair out of a brochure. We have spoken with them and to avoid an upset customer are making an exception to our policy and have offered a check to them less a % restocking fee, which they have agreed to. We will be picking up the chair on Monday and providing the check to them upon pick up.

Jay Hatfield came and picked up the chair and gave us a check. We are satisfied with the resolution.

Negotiated a price on a van with my trade in. I was told I would receive the $*** rebate that came with the van.
On *** I traded a *** van for a *** van that had a conversion for wheelchair accessibility. the price difference included a $*** rebate that was to come to me. I have contacted *** the person that sold me the van several times and kept getting the same answer that he had to talk to his manager and would get back to me. I never heard from him. I contacted his manager last week and was told that *** was out but that he would check on it and get back to me, again no call. I called this date and conveniently *** was out and his manager was on the phone. I said I would wait. After several minutes I hung up and called back and asked to talk to the person in charge. He too was out. I was told by the lady that answered the phone that she would pass on to *** and either she or he would get back to me this afternoon. 1900 and no call. All I want is what was negotiated in I thought good faith.
