After gathering all of the facts and talking with [redacted] and [redacted] about the dealings with Ms. [redacted], I have determined that she was fully aware of the fact that we held the car with her deposit from Thursday to Saturday because she wanted to drive from St. Louis to our store and...

buy it on Saturday.  The car was pulled off of the market and was unsellable to anyone else while waiting for Ms. [redacted] to show at the dealership.  We had other inquiries about the car but did not allow anyone else to buy the car as we were honoring our commitment to Ms. [redacted].  She was advised that the deposit was refundable IF the car did not meet her expectations not IF she decided to buy something else 2 days later as again, we were holding the car for her specifically and passing on other potential buyers.  That is the pure reason for a deposit.  To hold the car prematurely.  We don't need to practice taking a deposit and returning them for no reason.  A deposit is a commitment to buy.  She did not hold up her end of the bargain.In an effort to spend as little time on this as possible we will refund her deposit. Joe [redacted]
