Company states they will refund the consumer's money by mail by Friday. As well as mail a letter to them Friday advising they are offering to repair the skylights for free.

Review: In spring of 2013, Jay's Custom Construction Concrete team came and poured, dyed, and stamped our new patio and stairs to our front door. It was beautiful an we were very happy with it. Winter came, and snow covered everything for months. So much to our dismay when spring arrived and all the snow melted our steps were crumbling on the front and corners. We contacted Jay immediately. He said he had never heard of this happening and as soon as the weather truly broke they'd be out. We have proceeded to contact him every month since March some times speaking with him sometimes a message. He has been full of excuses and explanations of his absence. It is rediculous and petty to overshadow hard work of his concrete crew and business with his laziness to follow through with jobs that keep his business afloat.Desired Settlement: We want you to come out here and finish the job we payed for and you guaranteed. We deserve with the amount we payed you for this job to have a beautiful patio and concrete steps.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: In November of 2011 we hired Jay's to install new windows as well as new siding and gutters. Two years later the main jobs have been completed but we are still waiting on replacement siding in areas as well as hinges on the downspouts. We have contacted him on numerous occasions in which we've been told he will be here within a couple of weeks, he his yet to make good on any of these, he even promised at one point the work would be completed by Labor Day. Our last contact was Friday, October 11 in which he said he would call us right back, we are yet to hear from him again.Desired Settlement: We would just like him to finish the job that he started two years ago.

Review: On 7-29-09 I signed a contract to have [redacted]'s replace my roof.The work was completed.The roof didn't have any leaking problems the first year; however, the second and third winters the roof did experience leaking problems.[redacted]'s was notified and came out to look at the roof.They didn't find the problem the first time they came out.The latest leaking incident was 12-25-12.I contacted [redacted]'s and he sent one of his workers by the name of [redacted].This time it was excessive leaking. The water was coming in the house through the front bedroom ceiling, front bathroom ceiling and front hallway ceiling.Due to the excessiveness [redacted] removed a section of the ceiling in the hallway.At this time, I was told they weren't sure where the water was coming in but that [redacted] had looked back at the paperwork of who was on the job when the roof was replaced.[redacted] said whoever it was that did this work was no longer with the company because he didn't do good work. [redacted] assured me that this work would be covered by the warranty. I have made numerous calls to [redacted]'s,always leaving a message and he has never called me back.My friend [redacted] has also left messages regarding to [redacted]'s roof and never received a return call. [redacted] then called [redacted] who thought the work had been taken care of. [redacted] told [redacted] nothing had been done and that [redacted] hasn't been returning any phone calls.[redacted] told [redacted] that she was ready to file a complaint with the Revdex.com.[redacted] told [redacted] that [redacted] was in the office that day. [redacted] then called [redacted] and they talked about my roof issues.[redacted] told [redacted] that the leaking roof was due to prior drywall work not properly insulated.Dry wall work should have nothing to due with a leaking roof.At that time [redacted] told [redacted] what [redacted] had said about the roof being fixed and the ceiling repaired at no cost to me. [redacted] was going to talk to [redacted] that day and get back to [redacted] or myself.We have not heard from [redacted]s since.[redacted] also no longer answers his phone or returns [redacted]s message.Desired Settlement: I would like the part of the roof that is leaking to be fixed and the ceiling that was cut out by a [redacted]'s employee to be repaired. A friend of mine who is experienced in roofing told me he believes the roof is leaking in spots where ice and water shield is not present. According to the contract ice and water shield would be installed on the entire roof.

In response to your letter dated October 11, 2013 regarding Complaint ID No. [redacted], I have not heard anything from [redacted]'s Custom Windows & Siding, LLC. I am not satified with the company because of the lack of response nor has anything been done to fix the problem. I stopped trying to contact them and filed a complaint with you in hopes for a response to no avail.
