4/2/Re: *** *** *** brought his truck to me like he saidWe parked the truck Inside every evening after work, and then moved it outside every morning when we openedWe did this to avoid any damage to the vehicle during business hoursWe try very hard to take extra care of our
customers vehiclesIf it was from an oil film that may have been in the air then It would have covered the whole vehicleHis bed liner just has faded spots in itNot all overBed liners are designed to withstand oil and other products and abuseThat's why we all put them in our pickupsI felt that it was a defect in the liner itselfWhen the customer and I discussed this I had asked Hal to take it back to his person that installed the bed liner in the first place and have them look at itHe refused and insisted that It happened here at this shop, So I called a local dealer that sprays in bed liners to look at the customer's liner, He said it Is down inside the bed liner and that they may have not cleaned it good before they sprayed In the new one*** said that there was another liner In it beforeThe dealer mentioned he needed to take it back to the place that put it in*** got upset and said no and to get away from his vehicleSo at that time I decided to end our discussion*** *** Jay's Machine Shop

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
As I told Mr*** and his so called local vendor; "No matter what the vendor who installed my bed liner did, IT IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE FOR A PERFECT RECTANGLE TO SEEP UP FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY BED LINER PERIODAdd to that all at the same timeI don't believe it is possiblePlus the rest of the bed discolor all at the same time tooThis would real coincidences (Perfect rectangle seep through, rest of the bed discolor)No I can't believe thatI told Mr*** before he even took my truck with no issues in the bed liner, that I never parked the truck outside unless I was driving itIt is kept in a parking garageMr***'s local vendor said that it was his opinion that the rectangle with no discoloration was the result of prep work before the liner was installedMr*** local vendor also said that he thought that I could remove the film on my liner by spraying degreaser on itHe was telling me that I should clean the film off of the liner instead of the culpritFurthermore three weeks is a long time to be in possession of anyone vehicle and then decide you can't do the workAs I told Mr***, when you keep someone's property that long, you assume responsibility for itAs I was leaving Mr Follows I began wondering why (if the source if this contamination was under my liner)his local vendor would suggest cleaning it with a degreaserIf a degreaser would do the job, then this implies that there is some truth in my theoryOil got on my liner from Mr ***'s shopAlso the bed smells of machine oilThis smell is distinct. As for his local vendor, the gentleman acknowledged that he had no idea what type of liner I had nor did he know the specifications of itHe initially said that he could not determine the matter of the issue without this information but obviously changed his mindAnd for the record, when the young man (in age) who stated that he had been installing bed liners "a few years" suggested that I could clean the liner with a degreaser, I did tell him to step away from my vehicleThey (Mr *** and this young man) were actually laying up against my truck with their arms on the bed ridgeSo yes I did tell them to get off and meant itAs for Mr *** theory about something getting on my paint, A detailed inspection revealed that something is on it.

I am rejecting this response because: This vendor is proving to more and more dishonest as this goes onNow I am starting to believe he knows what happened because of he constantly refuses to tell the truth about anything
