Review: I received a phone call from Jaymes Enterprise back in May of 2012 asking me to set up a date for my air conditioning maintenance. I asked the woman that called if this was under my contract and she said it was. I set up the appointment for 5/14/13 and when the technician came he gave me a bill for $96.30. I told him it was covered under the contract and he said there is no contract. I told him the woman I spoke with told me it was under the contract and offered to call the company and explain that I would not pay it because I had been sure to ask if this was under my contract. The technician said he would call, I asked if he wanted to use my phone and he said "no, he would use his cell in the car. He came back and told me the woman I spoke with was fired, and he would get back to me shortly. He left and never returned. In August I received a bill for the $96.30 for air conditioning maintenance on 8/1/13 ( the day they were at my home was 5/14/13). I called the company and spoke to a man (he was not a gentleman) and he started yelling and screaming that I owe this money. I told him I did not owe this money because they solicited me under false pretentions. After hanging up, I realized I never asked for his name and called back. I then spoke to [redacted] the office manager and she would not give me the man's name and also told me I owe this money. I asked her why I would ever pay for a service when I get a maintenance visit for free. I have a contract with [redacted]. I do not know if the woman originally calling received a bonus for each maintenance call but I do feel that what they were doing to solicit business was not ethical.Desired Settlement: I would like to see this bill go away.

On May 7 2013, One of our employees from our sales department had called [redacted] to see if she would like her air conditioning maintenance for the summer season done. The sales personal of Jaymes Enterprise had gotten [redacted] name from our database due to her being a previous customer. There is no telemarketing or cold calling of any kind done. Nor are there any bonuses given from sales. This is a courtesy that we give all of our customers. The sales person explained what the maintenance involved and the cost. [redacted] agreed to the maintenance and made an appointment. When our technician arrived at the home he explained that he was from Jaymes Enterprise before any work was to be started. If there was question that she had a contract with a different company then she should have brought it to my technicians attention and he would have notified the office and would have been told not to do the service. This was not done. [redacted] said nothing at that time. It wasn't till after the work was performed and completed that [redacted] had a problem. She was informed by the technician that the amount of $96.30 was due for the service that was done. [redacted] refused to sign the work order or pay for the maintenance service that she agreed on. A letter was sent to [redacted] on 8/1/13 asking for the amount of $96.30 that is owed to be paid. This was the date of the letter not the day of service. In turn [redacted] called my office and was very threatening to one of our employees and myself. She hung up on them when it was explained to her that she still owed the amount due. She then called back when I answered the phone, I am the office manager. she was very nasty to me and said she will not pay this bill. [redacted] said she was going to call the [redacted] press and give them my name.. I explained to her that that was slander and against the law.. She hung up on me too. At this time the amount for the maintenance service is still due.

I am rejecting this response because: I did ask the salesperson that called in May if this was under my contract. She told me it was and there was NO MONEY discussed.

I was not a customer of Jaymes enterprise since 2009 and obviously will never be again. The technician told me the salesperson was fired when he came to my home.

Jaymes Enterprise actually called me last week trying to set up another appt. for my heating maintenance.

I will send out a check for the $96.30 so that I never have to see or hear (hopefully) from this business. again. I would like for the Revdex.com to keep this complaint on record
