Bureau ID [redacted]. The customer that filed the complaint received her clothes back washed and dried with no lingering smell and $40 for the inconvenience. I also reimbursed her the cost of the wash cycle the night of the incident.
The customer used a triple load washer that had a fatal mechanical failure. Since it was a front load washer the door was locked shut until I could get a replacement part. This happened on a Saturday night so I could not put a service call into the repairman until Monday morning. They were able to order the part and have it replaced by April 6th. I personally removed all the clothes and rewashed each piece twice. When I was 100% positive that not one item had any sort of lingering smell I dried and folded the customer’s clothes and waited for her to retrieve them. She sent her boyfriend who smelled the clothes and accepted the $40.00. At this point I felt the issue was resolved.

[redacted]  The business owner is not telling the truth the day the machine broke he did not refund me any money for the amount of the washing machine. I was calling and texting him up til Wednesday when I informed him that if he didn't respond I was going to get in contact with the attorney general office to get help in getting my clothes. I had someone pick my clothes up Wednesday because I was at work and by time my shift ended his business was going to be closed. The same day I got my clothes I informed them that they had a lingering odor to them. Which I was surprised of because they say there wet in the washer for 5 days. That Monday he did get in contact with me telling me he hasn't heard from a repairman yet. I have text messages to prove the stuff he was saying in the response back to you guys was not accurate. The clothes still smell after I washed them for a second time myself. I don't wear them and I have just been buying clothes slowly by surely because I live pay check to pay check and I can't go and just buy a new wardrobe. I strongly feel that he should be responsible for replacing my close due to his negligence.

Review: I was washing clothes at his laundromat Saturday April 2 2016 approximately 7pm. I loaded all my clothes in one of his triple load washers. I added the soap and went to attend to my other clothes I came back and a washer that was loaded next to mine at the same time was on 6 minutes to find out my washer had completely stopped with water on the floor. I called him to inform him of what was going on with his washer. He came down and was unable to open the washer door due to it being locked because it was in a cycle before it died. He said he need a day to get the part to get it open. It is now Tuesday April 5 2016 and still now resolution. My clothes been siting in the washer wet since Saturday and he barely responds back to my calls or texts messages pertaining to my clothes. I have asked him to replace my clothes and he hasn't yet to respond to them. He hasn't tried to resolve my issues and I have no clothes to wear to work and I recently had to take off work because I have no clothes to wear and they are still stuck in his machine.Desired Settlement: I need him to replace all my clothes so I can go buy new clothes because I know they are wet smelly with mold or mildew. I do not have any clothes at all.
