Jay's Small Engine & Appliance Service

We went to mrs [redacted] home to repair the door on her [redacted] Range. When we got there the customer tried to fix it them self and did not want to spend much money. So we proceeded to repair the glass and frame but the door was in rough shape. The hinge the customer is talking about fell apart...

because it was worn. Our vendor did not have the parts available to repair the door promptly. She may have found the parts on sites like [redacted] or [redacted] but we only deal with factory authorize sites. We did not break her hinge. during our discussions she kept relaying to me that she did not want to put much money into this product, that is why we were trying to fix it with material she gave me to use to save money.  sincerly [redacted]

My complaint is that the hinges that I paid for and were waiting to be delivered and installedwere never restored to my oven. On the 30plus occasions that I would call Jay's within 6months,I kept receiving the same comment that their company was going to call the manufacture to find out where the part was. NEVER did anyone ever contact to inform me of the progress or lack there of.  I never bought any part on [redacted] or any similar places but I did call [redacted] and [redacted] and [redacted] to ask if they could help me find out if it was correct that the hinges were on a back order of some sort. After Six months of waiting for Jay's to follow through,I contacted another independent repair person whom ordered the oven hinges and placed them in within 2 weeks for full price. It has nothing to do with saving money . I just needed my oven door placed back on the wall oven for use and safety reasons. In this event I lost my money from Jays because they failed to serve good business. Upon my complaint to the Revdex.com,I read other Revdex.com complaints against your company,Jays, for similar situations. I should have done that before calling. I continue to pass the word around via social media and word of mouth to prevent any other customers from experiencing this outcome. I still feel that Jays provided terrible service. It shows the company's neglect from the one year delay in a response to this Revdex.com complaint.
