Review: I purchased a 2001 [redacted] from the [redacted]. He sold the car as is, but he charged me 4800.00 for the vehicle and it is valued at 2500 on KBB. Not only is the vehicle over priced, it will not pass inspection and I have already put over 500 in the car. It not only have an engine oil leak, which I willing to fix, but it will not pass emissions, meaning that it will cost an additional 1000.00 to fix the head gasket and the 02 sensors to possibly pass DC inspection. [redacted] was aware that I was being inspected in DC and he guaranteed me that it would pass inspection. He even changed the rear brake pads saying that he guarantee that this car would pass.I sent hi emails, because he said that he would help get the car through inspection when I spoke to him on the phone. He lied and said that the shop that he was operating out of was not his, and w hen I looked at the name of the shop and the compared it to his name it is one of the same.I contacted him and he laughed and said its your problem now.Desired Settlement: I want my money back (4800.00), the $400 for tires that I purchased. All the rest of the little things like oil, filters, mats, fluids transmission and windshield wipers, etc. I will just eat.
