Review: This business was previously Tommy T's, and it will come up under that name if searched by phone number. The business is now called Jazz & Jokers. I purchased 5 tickets online for a comedy show at Jazz & Jokers for 12/20/13 as a birthday present. I received a confirmation email from Ticket Biscuit with an order number and all the details of the show. My account was debited in the amount of $110.00 that day. When I and my guests arrived at Jazz & Jokers, the door was locked and there were chains visible inside around the door handles. There was a sign on the door that stated that shows for Dec 12, 2013 through Dec 15, 2013 were cancelled, and apologized for the inconvenience. We arrived on Dec 20, 2013 for the show scheduled for that date, and there was no notice on the door regarding a cancelled show, nor was there any attempt to contact me via phone, email, or otherwise to inform me of any cancellation. There were posters up and lights on to showcase upcoming shows, including the one I purchased tickets for, with the correct date above it. I tried searching for another entrance to Jazz & Jokers, but the only other viable door was unmarked and locked as well. I tied calling several times the business using the phone number listed at the front entrance (same as the one listed online), but there was no answer, and no message machine/service to be able to leave a message. I asked an employee at a nearby business in a suite next to Jazz & Jokers, and the employee stated that her business was told that Jazz & Jokers would be closed for a number of days the previous week, but had no update since, and she didn't think the business was open. I and my guests had no choice but to assume that the business was closed, and that we would not be able to attend the show. We left.I contacted Ticket Buscuit, whose website was used to purchase the tickets, but they stated they are not liable, and their technology is only used for purchase. I have contacted my bank and reported the situation, and expect a refund.
