Hi again,I STILL have not received the refund from the businessThey are in the same county as us, so we should receive it within 1-days of him mailing, so this means he hasn't tried yetI agreed to the resolution on 6/Then contacted you guys because I hadn't received the refund and accepted his resolution AGAIN on 6/But here it is 6/and I still haven't received the refund[redacted]

In response to the complaint from Mr [redacted] we do apologize for the ConfusionI understand why they may have not followed what was going on at the time of the service call they were occupied with some trouble with there daughter and some police officers at there house but I personally ally scheduled the service call for this customer and I have never told a customer it is for service fee and diagnosis The fees are for the service call or trip fee and for the diagnosis which covers the first hour of laborWe did not charge the customer for the part because we were u sure if the part would work or even if we could find the part since our supplier was closed at this timeI did however tell them that if we found the part and it worked that I would only charge them for that part at the time of installationI did not say that what they paid was for a return service call The customer and our business have a signed invoice that statesService charge And diagnosis We tried to explain to the customer that we had no control over the parts and it was no longer available The customer and his wife just continued to pass the phone back and forth wanting to argue They were not willing to listen to anything we had to sayThe customer began cursing at me and hung up the phoneWe do apologize again for the inconvenience but we had no control over the partsWe charge all of our customers the same charges for service and diagnosisUnfortunately in some cases the parts are unavailable or not worth the investment to repair THANKS, [redacted]

We will be mailing a check to the home address that we have on fileIf the customer could confirm that address for us to make sure that he receives the refundWe would appreciate it if the customer would remove there negative comments from our [redacted] and [redacted] accountOr comment again and let our future customers know this issue is being resolved Thanks

I did hang up on him (as stated in my original complaint because he was wasting my time telling me what I needed to do (vs saying he would come out to actually fix the problem) and I had already told him (via text message) that I had a meeting to go to at that time.Furthermore, the phone records will not show a single attempt to call me backJust a series of texts in which he defended his own actions but did not offer to come and fix the problem he had been hired to addressI asked him flat out if he would come back to address the problem and he never once respondedI have texts I'd be willing to come in and share and phone records as wellI told him he was "off the hook" (which again he did not respond to) when he refused to answer the question of whether or not he would be coming back (at no charge) to address the repair he was hired to doHe never responded.Again, as stated in my original complaint, I know the chances of getting any kind of reimbursement for the waste of money are slimHowever, I do think it is important for other consumers to know what to expect from this businessAny company that would charge this much money to a customer to "fix" a problem, but would not want to make sure the problem had been corrected is, in my opinion, not trustworthy [redacted] *the technician) said he "did what he said he would do." In response to this complaint first off I opened the parts in front of his son and wife and installed themThe refrigerator was working when I left the customers home also the customer had sent me a text the next day to let me know that it was makin ice but seemed to be slowThat is the reason I
recommended changing the filterWhich he told me before I ordered the parts that he would replace the filter on his on because he could order them cheaperI spoke to the customer on the phone all he wanted to do was argue and say that I had screwed him over He wouldn't let me explain anything to him about why he may be having this problem The customer hung up the phone and didn't answer when I attempted to call backHe did send me the text saying we were off the hook a few days laterI did not reply to that he had already showed how he wanted to act The customer was not willing to hear anything other than he had been cheated and wanted his money back He was not cheated and if there was another problem we would have been glad to go back if the customer could have controlled himself and not have acted the way he did Thanks, foothills appliance repair

We never had any problems with this customer. We did go out to do service on this customers fridge but we did not realize they were not happy. We did speak with him about the fridge not working and we tried to give him advice and did offer to come back out but explained that it was going to be an...

expensive repair. If we would have knew the customer was unhappy we could have worked out something we had no idea. We will have a Check mailed this coming week for the desired amount of 100.00.

The business responded to my complaint...

on 01/17/17 saying that the check has been mailed, however, today is 01/21/17 and I still have not received the check for the refund. I have attached the receipt for what what I paid for the services that were rendered on 12/30/16. I wrote a review for the company expressing my dissatisfaction on 12/15/16, and they responded to that review on 12/15/16 agreeing to refund the $44, and I have attached their response to that review as well. Despite the fact that they have agreed verbally (on multiple occasions) and in writing to refund my money, I still have yet to receive the refund. Services were rendered on11/30/16, and it is 01/21/17, almost 2 months later, and I still have not received the refund.

Just to make things clear about Mr[redacted] dryer not working after the repair. The power was tested before the repair was done and he was told that he was only getting 110 volts to his dryer. The bad breaker was a suggestion not the deffinent cause of the lack of power.(we are not electricians). Mr...

[redacted] was told that the door switch and the cord in the dryer both needed to be replaced but there was no way to test the dryer until the power was repaired. Mr. [redacted] said to go ahead and replace the parts on the dryer because it was going to have to be done either way so that's what we did. After speaking to Mr [redacted] on the phone he was told that we could come back out and there would be no charge if we had missed anything but we would have to charge a fee if the power was still bad just for our time. Mr [redacted] said he did not have anyone to check the power to make sure he was getting the proper voltage so he had no way to know if he had fixed it. That's when Mr [redacted] told me to have a nice [redacted] life.  As far as the service charge Mr [redacted] knew exactly what the charges were when he called me to come out. After he had a problem he found our old website about the waiving of service charge. I explained to him we had actually lowered our fees by charging just a set service fee and labor rather than charging trip fees and diagnosis fees to make it more simple for our customers. I believe if Mr [redacted] has an electrician come fix his power the problem will be resolved. I am sorry for any misunderstanding if there was any but we will not be able to go to this customers house after the way he spoke to me on the phone.   Thanks, [redacted]

In response to the complaint. In order to end this going back and forth we are willing to refund the 88.00 that the customer believes they should not have to pay .We charged the normal fees as we do every customer but since there has been so much confusion we are willing to do that.  Thanks.
