Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The store in no way posted a "NO RETURN" policy on opened items, nor did it state it on the receipt that I was given! How ironic this man didn't admit to his detached unprofessional comment on "I'm the owner, and I'll do whatever I want" If that's the case, I wouldn't shop his store if it was the only store in this town, simply because this is a man who possesses NO morals towards others in respect to the business he operates, and he simply is nothing but a miser of a man who looks out after his own interests, and NOT of the customer I don't appreciate how this man lied to the B.B.Bin regards to the fact that I didn't bring in no measurements for him I brought in a tape measure indicating the width of the faucet, and even showed him a picture of the faucet with the open threads on the outside that was taken from my android phone If this man possessed any morals in his actions he would have done the right thing for me and tried to find another replacement in a catalog or make a "sincere effort" in wanting to help me out "the customer" instead of rudely telling me that he was not going to take the part back and leave me without getting my problem solved! This man claims that hardly no business will take any opened items back for return Well he his very wrong there and very close minded to that aspect All hardware stores, like the ACE hardware down the street from this business accepts opened items for return It is his "WRONG choice" to implement his bad policy against a customer as myself to deny returns on opened items, when other stores GLADLY accept returns on wrong parts This man seriously needs to get a reality check on his decisions and actions with other people In the long run, this will only come back to him NEGATIVELY in the loss of business from customers It's absolutely pathetic that we have a business owner in this small town who is nothing but greedy miser, and a man who proudly thinks only of himself! "Doing nothing for others, is the undoing of ourselves" ~ [redacted] ***Sincerely, [redacted] Sincerely, [redacted]

First off, the customer when he first came in used a good amount of foul language with my employee such that my employee was on the verge of telling the guy to leave, and was very glad when he went out the doorWe, the retailer, had no way of knowing if the carded aerator would fit his
faucet. There are many sizes and threads, and what we stock is only the most popular onesIf the customer knew even the brand of faucet, or the diameter of the threads, and the number of threads per inch, we could likely find the item in a catalog, to order. Though, it is pretty tough to want to help someone who is cussing more or less constantly. No guarantee was made on our part that the item would fit, nor any permission to return the carded item once opened. I doubt very many businesses accept the return of opened carded items, especially of this low value. This is common senseI was surprised the customer would even ask. I would think that looking at the item through the clear packaging would allow the customer to be pretty sure whether taking the the next step to open the card and try the item would be appropriate. We gladly accept returns of unopened items. When the guy came back in, I the ("old man") waited on him and tried to be pleasant. I looked to see if we had anything else that might fit which I did not find. He insisted on a refund for the opened item and I told him we do not accept returns of opened items. The customer got very angry and called me "a *** *** *** along with other choice things, said he would be making a Better Business complaint and stormed out the door. Frankly the cost of the aerator is insignificant in the bigger scheme of things, but I don't care to have this foul mouthed person ever come in our store again no matter how much he might intend to spend
