in. He is less than forthright with respect to his allegations in reporting to the Revdex.com that the clock was at 3 hours and 50 minutes, which 10 minutes would have expired. He was only in the system for 4 minutes. I have his IP address to prove it. Furthermore, the clock issues is the time running out overnight without him logging out. Not just pausing the system.  The system says he gets 3 chances and he used one. I have reset the system and he has been notified. Although, I am not a member of the Revdex.com at this time, I am going to address the concerns of [redacted] herein after Complainant. On January 28, 2015, I conducted [redacted] Handgun class with 5 students. Upon introduction with the students, Complainant immediately expressed she was married to a DC...

Police Officer. Throughout the morning of January 28, 2015, several comments made by the Complainant were disruptive to the students. Complainant disagreed with the training on several occasions. The other students told me they were uncomfortable with the Complainant and another student who alleged he was and overseas contractor. Without regard for the other students skill level, Complainant continued to openly discuss matters which were not relevant to the training topic. I told Complainant on several occasions that comments were inappropriate and that she did not have the certification for teaching in the Commonwealth and what ever her law enforcement husband has advised her that her comments were not in accordance with state level training, the curriculum, or lesson plan. As a reality based trainer with 25 years of experience in the Private Security field, I have certified thousands of students, prepared them for the field and have most of those return for in-service training. I believe that the experience, knowledge, skills and attitude I have gained over the years is mostly appreciated by students. All students take a 10 minute break every hour. As the Training Director, I return calls, answer emails etc., on the breaks. With respect to the presentation on Power Point. Every effort is made to provide state-of-the-art training to students. This is to ensure that the training content is legal and valid in terms of currently accepted practices and procedures of the Commonwealth of Virginia, Office of Regulatory Affairs, Department of Criminal Justice Services, Division of Law Enforcement & Security Services and the Private Security Community. I am ultimately responsible to the citizens of the communities the security officers represent and I continually strive to earn the confidence of the public by meeting the standards of excellence that our communities expect of the qualified and efficient Private Security professionals I certify.

Review: A representative of the business was very rude and unprofessional in his handling of a situation in which my husband and I called to handle with him today. There was a class scheduled today, which we paid for my husband to attend. My husband received a phone call with a very vague message stating the class was cancelled and to refer to the website. When he did refer to it there was no information there. He called a number of times to get more information and did not receive a response. I called from a different telephone number and the representative answered on the first ring. I began to explain the issue and he very curtly dismissed me because I was not the one taking the class. I understood this, but the way he spoke to me was very unprofessional and I did write a complaint to his personal and business email. He then responded defensively with a message that I found threatening that I would face legal action if I slander his name or business. I never said anything about slander. I only mentioned that I would complain about his unprofessional behavior to the Revdex.com and anyone to whom I could complain formally. I perceived his email response to be written in a very threatening manner. Although he did refund the payment, I think a report needs to be filed for his handling of the issue.Desired Settlement: The representative uses more professional practices in dealing with customers whether he perceives them as irate or not. He is the one with the business and has to have customer service abilities as he is dealing with the public.

The complaint before you is bogus. I was professional and tried to explain to the student why the class was canceled and HE was rude and unprofessional. He in fact violated our Professional Code of Conduct cursing at me over the phone. He was upset because the class was cancel due to lack of enrollment. I had the instructor call him to advise him of the cancellation. He was advised to look at the website for further information. In fact the canceled class was changed to the following Sunday. He says he did not see it on the calendar. I refunded his money within 2 minutes of his unprofessional conduct over the phone. They both had an attitude and were very rude and disrespectful. Because he has violated the Professional Code of Conduct, and he left me a voicemail cursing at me, I am forwarding this to the Department of Criminal Justice Services, Private Security Section for review. I have been out of town since Wednesday, June 12, 2013. Today is Wednesday, 19, 2013, and is the first chance I have had to respond. I have the voicemail for your review as well.

Review: I supposedly registered late for a training. Despite the fact I was late,the system let me register. And now they're refusing to refund my fee although I did not consume the service at all.Desired Settlement: refund

I have enclosed our cancellation policy for your review. Attached hereto and made part of is our screen shot of our website, indicating that the cancellation policy must be read or at least seen for the process of checking out or paying for the training is complete. I'm not sure why this student did not make other arrangements responsibly prior to registering. Since he did not, the options are to reschedule training up to 6 months.
