This complaint simply makes no sense.
When we estimated thisWe explained that the cracks could be due to movement/settling etc or moistureThey assured that there may have been moisture but it had been mitigatedI advised them that we could do one of two thingsRe-install
sheetrock over the ceiings or skim coat all ceilings with durabond, prime and paintI advised them as to the price difference between two options and they readily agreed to go with the durabond, sand , prime and paint as it was a much cheaper optionI advised them that If there was an underlying problem such as stuctural movement or moisture etc then the cracks could reappearThey agreed to go forwardThey were present during the entire operationThey observed the work on a daily basis and even commented about the hard work being done and the qualityWe conducted the work under their strict observation and actually did extra moving of furniture, removal of items on stairwells due to their age and inability to move heavy items all in an effort to pleaseUpon completion they were very happyWe received a call regarding two tiny spots of touch up a few days later of which we sent a painter to fix who was not let in by Jackie because according to her we did not make an appointment which upset herOther than the two minutes of touch up we had no indication of any issuesWe conducted the work as specified, under their daily and direct observation and also did extra to insure their satisfaction They are wrongfully attempting to blame the skim coating and painting company for what is actually structural, moisture etc issues that they were fully aware existedThey were originally made aware of the two options available, the potential outcomes, prices and consciously made their decision It is apparent that they may need to address the real structural issues and consider gutting the rooms in question or installing new sheetrock as was one of the original suggestions

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[redacted] Dear Revdex.com,It's interesting the take on our conversations that the owner had with us. Although moving furniture was in the contract cost, we moved all the pieces for the whole house except for a chest and two sofas. I would say we aren't quite as decripate as he would have you believe. We have always maintained our painting and patching ourselves until this year and the cracks never came back for years, not six months. We also were the ones that wanted to replace a few ceilings and he assured us the repair way was the way to go. I find it very irresponsible for a business owner to not own up to the poor quality of work he provided to us. I intend to pursue this further through any means you can assist me with. I hope because your approval was involved with this business, that you can suggest another means of communicating our dissatisfaction to this person. We are not interested in a civil suit, as we don't believe in going that route. However, we will consider letting others know the poor work he provided and his unprofessional attitude.Thank you,[redacted]

Overview of facts.
I have a copy of the email in which Miss [redacted] states " Both me and my partner have reviewed your estimate and would like you to do the work"
We arrived and conducted the work with Miss [redacted] present at all times.
Upon completion of the final coat we advised her that it may need some touch up after drying.
I received a voicemail from Miss [redacted] stating that all the work completed was fine and that all she needed was some minor touch up. We went immediately upon her first convenience to do so and Miss [redacted] thanked us for this by voicemail and verbally.
At no time did Miss [redacted] state any issues to my forewomen Vanessa or myself until it came time to pay the bill. At which time she stated that another company told her they would have done it for less.
Should you feel the need to hear the voicemail from Miss [redacted] stating all the work was completed and fine , see the email readily accepting the bid or speak to the forewoman (vanessa) to confirm any of this. Please let me know.
Thank You,
Phil Fasolo - owner
