I confirmedSo I went to Yeadon Borough to get the proper permits for the job, which can be proven by the head of L & I Department, who by the way, after I told him the situation, he recommended that I take *** *** to court to sue for the balance of the moneyAfter and only after, I spent weeks rebuilding his front roof up and over with all new carpentry workAnd I tried to contact *** *** over times, with no responseWe finished all the carpentry work and rebuilt the entire front of his roof, and covered it with a weather resistant under laymentAfter weeks and weeks of absolutely no response from *** ***, myself and my team, began to pray that *** *** was is good health, because of his lack of communicationWe were concerned that something was wrong with his healthAt this point, we had spent more on materials and labor costs than half the job was worth, and only then did I try to contact him again for another payment considering he only gave me $3,down when he was contracted for almost $6,down payment*** *** assured us that he "was good for the money." So, we went out of our way to do all of the carpentry work, considering the front of roof was collapsing into the 2nd floor! When we heard nothing back from *** *** for weeks if not months, I contacted the head chairsman of the Yeadon Borough L& I department for adviceThat is when I was told that "this customer had been nothing but a problem to the borough for years and that I should take him to court for the rest of my money" even though we had every intention of finishing his job promptly if the payment was madeTo this date, I still have not been contacted by *** ***Yeadon Borough advised me to seize all work on the property until further payment was madeSo that is what I didI would highly suggest that *** *** contact me directly, make the payment, and we would finish the job as first agreed uponIf this is not possible on his behalf, then I believe that further legal action must be taken on behalf of J.CContracting, as per the advice given by Yeadon Borough L& I DepartmentThanks and God bless!J.CContractingJames C***, Owner***
