In November 2019, through a Register newspaper ad, I contracted with ***, owner of JC Enterprises, to paint the exterior of my Mission Viejo Home. I was pleased with the result and hired him to do the inside of my home also. He said business was slow and he could start soon. The work included removal of acoustic on the ceilings, the concealing of fan chains, new baseboards, door frames, some demolition of wood paneling etc., - in other words it was quite a large project. The work flow became spasmodic. For days there was no work because they were doing another job. My house was torn apart because of furniture moving for the painting. For four nights I slept on a chair until I vehemently insisted they put my bed back together. They ignored my contract and painted a neighbor's house - one of several instances when they were engaged in another property, abandoning the work at my home but storing paint and moulding and tools inside my house, stopping by to pick them up to use on someone else's property. It was very stressful for me, a fairly new widow, to feel they were taking advantage of me and there wasn't much I could do about it. I had to keep postponing getting my carpet installed as I wanted all the painting completed first. Remaing work includes touch up wall and ceiling painting/cleaning, baseboard install, master bedroom window frame completion, hall bath door frame painting, deck repairs, exterior front porch touch up paint, stair banisters sanded and stained, paint vent covers, remove cement from sides of entry hall to facilitate carpet install etc. I wake up in the night and feel stressed, when will they finish this work. *** ignored my three phone calls yesterday (02.21.20.)
My house has been torn apart for three months - furniture piled up in the center of rooms where the walls were painted - but do to touch up needed I can't rehang pictures or shelves. With all this disarray I can't have friends over, my life has been horribly disrupted.

Finish the job Contact the owner, ***, to apply whatever pressure is within your purview, to plead my case. It is unconscionable what I have had to endure. I rearranged my schedules to accommodate their work only to be sitting and waiting - no one showed up, no one called, or they showed up hours from their designated times. The lack of respect for me, their paying client, is hard to understand. As a business owner I would hope hearing from the Revdex.com would cause him to take action.
