Review: I paid over $5000.00 cash for 2 living room sets 7 pieces and a dining rooom set 5 pieces, , bar with two chairs 2 end tables, sofa table bed and headboard, promised 2 free tv's and a rug delivery ans det up .. I paid in October cash. They promised delivery April [redacted]. NO furniture yet my family has asked for the money back I have a housewarmimg party with our priest house blessing and 30th bithday in one. Dr's lawyers officers and teahers aong other people are coming to my house I still have no furnitre. They will not give me the furniture I paid for or give me back my money. Review: I placed order No. [redacted] a $1,500 deposit on a Queen sized Ashley Furniture Gabriela B347 bedroom set from this vendor D/B/A NY Discount Furniture at [redacted] on May *, 2013. I was informed the product has to be custom made and product would arrive 15-20 business days and the balance of $185 could be paid COD. During the week of June [redacted] I spoke with [redacted] (manager) who indicated the delivered would be during the week of June [redacted]. I went to the establishment this afternoon due to the fact I did not receive my bedroom set. I was astonish to find the place in shambles with a for rent sign banner as an awning. I spoke with the owner of the property, Automotive Realty Corp. [redacted] ###-###-####, and informed the established turned in their property keys on Friday, June **, 2013. My calls to their telephone numbers ###-###-####; ###-###-#### and ###-###-#### were to no avail. I am quite upset I just got out of a shelter and do not have a lot of money. This money was to furnish my bedroom. I need to report they did not have a going out of business sign or informed me of such. 'They just disappeared. I am hurt because I am disabled and suffering from mental illness, etc. This is very troubling that an establishment would betray and dishonor their contract.Desired Settlement: I would like my bedroom set delivered as a desired outcome along the 2 night lamps and orthopedic queen sized bed. If this isn't possible, I would like a full refund of my monies along with a unfavorable rating for this business establishment. Other consumers would be shocked as well when they find out. I would like a criminal investigation to be placed against this business as well.

Review: On March **, 2013 I went to JC Furniture and put furniture on layaway ($2,000) for my new empty apartment. I put on lay away 1Bedroom set for my self, 1Bedroom set for my Daughter, 1 complete living room set and dining room table with chairs. I handle business with a gentle man by the name of [redacted] and he assured me that I will get my furniture with no problems. On March **,2013 I left another deposit of 400 and I was told he had everything and was waiting on my bedroom set I said ok because this would give me time to get the rest of the money. On June **, 2013 I went to make the last payment, I asked for [redacted] and I was told he did not work there anymore but I can deal with anyone in the store because they could help. I spoke with [redacted] who said I could deal with him or [redacted] and he gave me his Number ###-###-#### I gave [redacted] $400 and had $100 dollar cash on delivery that I agreed to pay once the furniture was delivered. the delivery date was July, *, 2013 I have no furniture and the store is no longer there and the space is looking for a renter. I feel bad because I have no furniture for my daughter we painted to prepare for the furniture now I have painted walls but no furniture.Desired Settlement: I would like the furniture I ordered or a full refund!

Review: they never send the merchandize, and never gave us our money back. The merchandize is worth 2,597 dollars.Desired Settlement: want my money back
