I have received a complaint about my business from [redacted] stating that I will not refund her money for lessons that she was receiving on my ranchGoing over my accounting I see that she actually owes me $for lesson given on 2/18/I have tried to speak with her and have had no luck reconciling the disagreement1/23/ [redacted] purchased a lesson package paying the full price of $for a lesson four packWhen purchasing this package you receive one free lesson when paid up front in full and used with in thirty days of purchaseRain days and instructor cancelations not countedWe do this because it prevents people from coming once every few months for a ride and encourages lessonsTook three lessons on 01/23/01/31/ [redacted] brought the family up and we mounted everyone but only charged for one lesson2/04/I then gave [redacted] a discounted price of $for lessons plus she would get the free one if lesson package was purchased in fullI did this because she had herself and three children in lessonsTook three lessons 02/04/02/11/ [redacted] paid $which gave her three more lessons Took four lessons 02/11/02/18/On this day *** arrived at 3:for a 2:lesson with two of the three childrenThis was due to traffic conditionsThe third child arrived at 4:with the grandparent [redacted] then said that she wanted [redacted] to ride longer than the others because it was more her thingI gave the children lessons until almost 6:pmIt was almost dark and I explained to [redacted] that I needed to feed horses and get ready for a dinner dateShe did not express any feeling other than she understoodTook three lessons02/18/Eleven lessons were paid for, two free lessons and one nonpaidI would like to state that [redacted] was informed upon her tour of the ranch that lesson are charge per Lesson not per hourWe do this so that we don’t stop a lesson short of learning what was set out to be practiced in that lessonSome lessons are short, some are long, it just depends what we are working onRefunds are never given but the opportunity to take the lessons paid for is always encouragedI am a certified instructor and have been in business for many yearsI hold the contract with the YMCA and run a safe family ranchI am not asking for the actually owed to meI am asking that the slander and harassment please stopSincerely, [redacted] JC Quarter Horses Please see attached file

When she realized it was her mistake she's stopped mentioning and and rushed through my girls lessons because she had a date !!!!!!! This IS NOT a family safe ranch she left us alone with an aggressive horse that crushed my toe we had no experience and my girls and I shouldn't have been left alone on a situation that put my girls and myself in danger!! I have proof that [redacted] is a liar and the documents I have have her saying she owes me moneyWe are a military family on income we are very tight and budget our money as much as possible I would never harass or "slander" someone's business knowing that they don't owe me anything because that would be wrongHow is it slander when you have a right to review a business ? How is it harassment when you are trying to get money that you know is rightfully owed to you? I would hate for this to happen to someone else thinking they are walking into a learning situation when intact they are walking into a trap!!!!! Shame on youYour ranch is DANGEROUS and your horses spookWe had to pause/stop my daughters lesson because your horses kept spooking which can be potentially fatal!!!! That's family safe? I had to drive home barefoot because my foot was so swollen !!!! [redacted] owes me for lessons at $for the lesson package It's my responsibility to take my girls up for lessons when they are due bit how is it fair when the so called trainer cancels non stop because she's lazy or wants to party? That's unfair to me and most of all unfair to my poor girls of you're the one cancelling why would you think keeping the money you were paid for a lesson package, that's called stealing [redacted] will do whatever it takes to lure in innocent families and will make sure all is what it seems but truthfully speaking...I've seen horse manure in the same place for weeks I even offered to help her clean the ranch!!! It's ABSOLUTELY NOT safe for adults let alone CHILDREN, on top of all the drama and lies EVERYTHING She taught my child was wrong wrong wrong my poor baby had to start All over at a different ranch from scratch because with me not knowing proper etiquette I didn't know how to catch the fact that [redacted] was winging it through training my girls !!!! huge slap on the face and huge disappointment DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY at J.C.Quarter Horses and if you do go bring your own helmet like we did, their helmets are infested with lice ( [redacted] s words) so please keep your children safe and away from this dangerous dangerous ranchPlease do not be fooled! When purchasing this package you receive one free lesson when paid up front in full and used with in thirty days of purchase. Rain days and instructor cancelations not counted. We do this because it prevents people from coming once every few months for a ride and encourages lessons.
Took three lessons on 01/23/2016
01/31/2016  [redacted] brought the family up and we mounted everyone but only charged for one lesson.

I then gave [redacted] a discounted price of $120.00 for 4 lessons plus she would get the free one if lesson package was purchased in full. I did this because she had herself and three children in lessons.

On this day [redacted] arrived at 3:45 for a 2:30 lesson with two of the three children. This was due to traffic conditions. The third child arrived at 4:45 with the grandparent.  [redacted] then said that she wanted [redacted] to ride longer than the others because it was more her thing. I gave the children lessons until almost 6:00 pm. It was almost dark and I explained to [redacted] that I needed to feed horses and get ready for a dinner date. She did not express any feeling other than she understood.

I would like to state that [redacted] was informed upon her tour of the ranch that lesson are charge per Lesson not per hour. We do this so that we don’t stop a lesson short of learning what was set out to be practiced in that lesson. Some lessons are short, some are long, it just depends what we are working on. Refunds are never given but the opportunity to take the lessons paid for is always encouraged.
I am a certified instructor and have been in business for many years. I hold the contract with the YMCA and run a safe family ranch. I am not asking for the 30.00 actually owed to me. I am asking that the slander and harassment please stop.
