The salesman just flat lied to me by telling my window was well over $600 because it would be a Harvey window. It wasn't The window they installed was a generic brand. Also the installer broke open the sheet rock on the inside by hammering the window in place from the outside too far into the house.
Dear *** We installed this window for you in 2010 no where on your contract does it state the brand of the window you were provided a name brand window with a full warranty package provided to you at the time of the install should you be having a problem with the window feel free to call us and we can help you resolve this all the windows we sell are name brand and come with full warranties. Additionally, you did not let us know about any possible damage at the time of the install I am looking at a completed sign off sheet. Our sincere apologies if there was any confusion if you want to call my office I am sure we can get you a replacement part, sash Regards Faith
JC Tonnotti replaced 22 of our windows. They were prompt, courteous, and professional. Our window order took approx. 6 weeks and once they received they contacted us immediately to schedule our install. Our installation took two days due to changing two kitchen windows and replacing the old basement windows (which required a bit more labor). We have referred our neighbor and a good friend who had a previous estimate from a competitor that was outrageous. We look forward to doing more business with JC Tonnotti in the future.

The owner Joe Tonnotti, was very rude when he came to our house.
He said "Do you think I just came out here to give you a estimate?"
Then we were waiting for the company he uses to set up a loan for us to approve us for the loan.
While waiting for the loan approval, My Wife asked him, "What if we are not approved for the loan?"
His reply was, "then beg". This was not appropiate to me!!!
We were approved for the loan, and had him install the windows.
Spoke to his wife on 6/9/2020, because one of the sliding windows has a seal failure,
and she was getting kind of huffy with me to find the order number for me to call Harvey Windows,
and order a new window. I would not recommend this company.

Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns we appreciate the business you placed with us in 2017 and I understand your job came out beautiful and you signed off on the job completion sheet. I would hope you did not place your business with someone you felt was rude or disrespectful to you. I can assure you we have been in business for 30 years and if Joe treated everyone like the way you are describing and we did not provide wonderful service/products, we would not remain in business. Regarding the call you made to me last week, I can assure I was not rude, disrespectful or huffy when I was advising you how you would be able to order the sliding window that had a seal failure which the manufacturer Harvey would replace for you at no cost because of the warranty on the glass. As I was advising where you would need to look to find the order number, Nancy was in the background yelling that we should come out and take care of this and how we would not stand behind anything so much so she called back and apologized to me! Once again let me reiterate while we appreciate the confidence and trust you placed with JC Tonnotti, we are not the manufacturer of the windows and they are the one's who stand behind the products and warranties which they will happily do. I told you where to find the information and provided you with the service number for them so they can provide you with a new window.
I am not complaining about the job completion that JC Tonnotti company did on my windows, as a matter of fact the instillation was quite good.
I am compaining about Joe's comments to us, he said " Do you think I just came out here to give you a estimate?"
Also while we were waiting for *** to approve us for the loan my wife asked him a question, she said"What if we are not approved for the loan?"
Joe's response was, "Then you can beg". I did nit find these comments appropriate!!!
While I was looking to find the order number for the replacement window, Mrs. Tonnotti seemed like she was getting frustrated with me because I
could not find the order number. Why can't she look in her records to find this order number?
Anyway the remaining windows on the house were replaced with *** Windows by a company in *** with smart young workers who were polite.
Mrs. Tonnotti, I noticed you did not comment on the rude comments Joe made to us in 2017 as stated in the prior emails.
Joe did not apologize for his comments!!!!
Also speaking to you in early June 2020, you could have searched your records for the order number for the replacement window.
You could do a common courtesy and install the new window when it comes in it would only take 5 or 10 minutes.
But you wanted to charge $150.00 for a service call. You could even talk me over the phone on how to install the window myself.
I think you do not think of servicing the customer after you install windows. You just care about the sale!!!
We used J.C. Tonnotti to replace 21 Windows. So professional and a pleasure to work with. Thank you Steve and Nick for taking the time to answer all of our questions. Every employee that worked on the windows were very knowledgeable and professional. Can’t wait to complete the next phase (painting exterior of the house). Would highly recommend J.C.Tonnotti
In mid-March, J.C. Tonnotti and company replaced a sliding glass door with a new model manufactured by *** Building Products. They handled the negotiation and installation process well. They even accommodated a somewhat non-standard door size while keeping the total cost reasonable. Once all matters were agreed and an installation date was set, the workmen quickly and effectively installed the door. They also took time to clean the installation site when finished. After a little more than two months, I can say it still looks great!

We recently had 23 windows replaced. The windows are beautiful and they make our house look great! Joe told us they would all be installed in one day and they were. Extremely satisfied with this company. They replaced our bedroom windows last winter with ease and pride. Very professional, clean and prompt. All at a reasonable price. We will be a return customer no doubt about it.
I recently had 10 windows replaced and I'm very satisfied. I changed my slider in the front of my house to a picture window with two windows on the side and I love them. The three young men Michael Jose and Chris were very friendly and courteous and did a very nice professional job. They arrived on time and had the 10 Windows done in one day. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves. They work really well as a team and I am very pleased with the results .
I recently had 2 windows installed by J C Tonnotti. One was a standard sized window and the other was a large window that required a double hung.
I called J C and immediately got a hold of their office manager. I did not have to make multiple calls or chase anyone down, which tends to be the process with contractors. We scheduled an appt for an appraisal and Joe (The owner) arrived promptly on the day we had chosen. Joe reviewed the space, took some measurements and provided estimates. We discussed a few different options (sliders, double hung, etc..) and decided to go with the most affordable choice.
The windows took about 3 weeks to custom order and Joe called to schedule installation a few days after that. Joe was not present during the actual installation but this had no impact on the quality of the installation.
3 guys came out to install the windows and it took under 2 hours in total. After the installation the installer in charge walked me through the process and we inspected the windows together. He then reviewed the warranties with me and explained who to contact if I have any issues.
I have had the windows for about a month now and everything seems great. No issues with any of the seals and the windows look GREAT!
I will certainly be contacting J C Tonnotti for future window installs.
This was our first experience with the company. Despite a small communication error on the company’s end which cost us a couple more dollars and another 3 hours of work, we were very pleased. Stuff happens. The installers were great. Very professional and honest. We will be using them for our next project.

We were happy we could all come to a small compensation for the time and repair and we were happy to offer the discount for the miscommunication on our part. I would highly recommend J.C. Tonnotti. Joe is extremely knowledgeable about windows and gave us good solid advice. He paid attention to details as we had specific requirements from our condo association and when planning our installation date. The installers were professional, friendly and experienced. They left our home neat, clean and tidy after the installation. I love our Harvey glass sliding doors and window that we purchased through J.C. Tonnotti.

Came home after having a new patio door installed and could not tell anyone had been in my house, other than having a beautiful new door installed. We replaced 16 windows, including the basement, a door and the garage door. Joe is no pressure sales! We paid less for all of that than what one window company quoted us for just windows! The entire job, from beginning to end, was exactly as Joe had promised! He was also flexible when we asked to delay our installation and added in extra requests. The quotes/invoices were quickly drawn and immediately sent to us. The products and craftsmanship are fabulous and with the exception of the garage door, all of the windows and the door, were installed in 1 day! We intend to use Joe again in the future for additional improvements!
