I have been a customer shopping at JC Beauty supply since I moved to Kentucky in I have witnessed the owners on numerous accounts treat the customers such disrespect98% of the customers are African American and they treat this population like thiefsEveryone that walks into their store are closely monitored and treated with such disrespectFor this reason I always leave my purse in the car to avoid any conflictOn Saturday January my husband and son and I were out shopping and so I stopped into JC beauty supply storeWhen they say my husband immediately they began to talk in their language and stare at usI made sure that every item I wanted to purchase I walked and laid it on the cash registerAfter I purchased my items my husband was still looking at the men hair care products so I stood at the front on the store waiting for himAt that moment I saw the male owner following my husband around the storeIt made me so uncomfortable I had been shopping this store for years and I couldn't believe how the owners were treating my familyThe owners of JC beauty supply need to understand that not all African Americans stealIf they don't want an African American male in their store then they need to stop selling African American productsJC Beauty supply need to learn how to treat their customers with dignity and respectI will not be shopping at this store again and I will be alerting hair stylist in the Louisville area not to shop here as well

On Saturday August 30, 2014, the customer came into our store (JC Beauty) specifically looking for tahairWe showed her *** Taping Hair to meet her requestWe also informed her that it was human hair, and that it can be coloredShe took a picture of the product and sent it to her beautician for approval and adviceThe customer purchased one packet of the product after her beautician approved her selectionShe came back on Tuesday September 2, to buy an additional packetThe customer came back to our store an additional time on Wednesday September 3, to purchase two more packets of the productIn total, she spent $We did not influence her decision in any way to purchase the productWe only informed her of the general facts (the hair is human and can be colored)Directions for application are also provided on the packetThe company recommends that the hair be applied on thoroughly washed and dried hairThe product will not work if the hair is wet, conditioned, or supplied with oilWe also have our store policy written and taped on our cash register for customers to seeWe do not exchange or give money back for products, especially if they are already used
