I am rejecting this response because: ? My entire quote /bid from cheth was approximately $for material and labor? I have paid all the bill except for $693.00.Tutu never came to finish any painting because my floors were not done? And I don’t want to paint until the walls can be cleaned before painting? I had a floor company come out that I have used in the past to finish my hardwood floors - stain and poly coatings - yesterday and they will not touch my stairs because they are not up to code, they said that the steps will split and break over time because cheth did not make them to code? They also pointed out several several other problems? I have to get the transition between rooms redone cause they told me it’s not correct? So I have a company coming out next week to give me a bid to redo my entire stairs, fix the transitions between rooms, replace all the stair backings cause none of it was glued in, and my new rod iron railings need to be checked because they said they are not secure and could be dangerous if we have kids on the second floor.As far as cheth being out on medical leave, I pray he is not sick, but I have a hard time believing this reason cause he told me in one of my last text messages that is wife was deathly sick and had to have surgery and that was the delay? In addition, if you read other websites that cheth is listed on, you will find similar “excuses” of his employee becoming sick and then he never returned to finish that job? So how could I trust this reason for him not getting back with us.we will get our house done correctly cause we will not be able to sell without fixing the floors and stairs? We are not selling now but will someday? My floor company told us it is sad to have company’s like cheth’s advertise to customers that they know what they are doing and clearly take advantage of people like us.....we will see Chet again when we take him to small claims court to recover our expenses for a poor quality job, and for having to go through all of this stress to get a project done that we waited years to do...we saved for this and it’s been a nightmare.Revdex.com- please do not let them do this to others....it has been a nightmare trying to get this finished and simply trying to talk with cheth
