My experience with JCPenney has been very unpleasant on multiple levels. I will no longer shop at any of their stores or online and I have cancelled my account with them. I received damaged furniture on multiple occasions and the process took several months. I finally had to refuse the order and request a refund to look for furniture elsewhere. They use a 3rd party delivery company that is very careless with the furniture and very unorganized. The customer service department for JCPenney is also very unorganized and gave me false information and incorrect delivery dates on two different occasions. The credit department gives out your personal information to sales companies who will begin cold calling you to try to sell you something.
