I intended to rent a phone through JCR, only to retract the order due to poor customer serviceThe representative who claimed to be the GM called to verify my identity in order to rent the phone, which is fine and acceptable as standard procedureWhat was inappropriate was the series of personal questions asked in a condescending tone and raised voiceVery unprofessional and offensiveDisappointing experienceI will never recommend JCR, especially when there are so many other rental companies serving travelers to Japan

In my experience JCR Corporation is unreliable, unwilling to acknowledge errors on their part, and unable to resolve problems resulting from their errorsSome of the problems were inconvenient but others were more seriousI have used an iPhone for several years without any problemsI contracted with JCR Corporation to rent an iPhone for use in JapanThey initially provided invalid telephone numbers and then sent a phone with a third numberWhen I picked the phone up at Narita Airport and turned it on there was a screen densely printed in JapaneseI do not know JapaneseThe Japanese staff at the mail picenter could neither figure out the screen nor get to another screenI could not contact JCR but was able to find a Docomo (the service provider) center and staff there could not figure out the screen but after a while got to a screen which allowed me to sign into GmailLater, another person who had rented an iPhone from JCR Corporation, said that when he turned on the phone it had one word in Japanese and when you swiped the screen you got the option to proceed in EnglishSo obviously JCR Corporation had not properly set up the phone they sent meWhen I contracted with JCR Corporation, I specified that I would only use Gmail, Google, telephone contact, and saving photographsAll seemed to go well for a week, then suddenly I saw that my Contacts Directory had reverted to an old version with none of the contacts for my tripI was in a country where I did not know the language, with a complex 5-week itinerary and had lost primary access to crucial contact informationWhen I contacted JCR Corporation, staff ignored what I was describing and sent irrelevant and unhelpful directionsWhen I continued to have problems with the phone, JCR staff got hostile and accusatoryThey ignored the facts they had provided invalid phone numbers and an improperly set up phone and the possibility that perhaps they had made problem causing mistakesThey just blamed meThey got so nasty and unprofessional that I was actually climbing MtFuji when I got an email from JCR announcing that they were canceling service! My son had to pay $in phone charges to sort things out with them and I had to rely on his expertise to get the phone working somewhat reliablyLater, JCR refused to provide names and contact information for their chief executive or chief administrator to whom I wanted to describe my experience, so I contacted the Revdex.comJCR Corporation may be fine when things go well, but they are worse than useless when their mistakes create problems

Excellent customer service and installation Hannah has been extremely helpful, and the two install teams that came out were top notch Highly recommend

Extremely rude, aggressive, and not friendly towards anyone who can only communicate via email like the legally deaf.

I contracted with JCR Corporation to rent an iPhone for use in Japan. They initially provided 2 invalid telephone numbers and then sent a phone with a third number.
