On Saturday August 30, 2014, the customer came into our store (JC Beauty) specifically looking for tape-on hair. We showed her [redacted] Taping Hair to meet her request. We also informed her that it was human hair, and that it can be colored. She took a picture of the product and sent it to her beautician for approval and advice. The customer purchased one packet of the product after her beautician approved her selection. She came back on Tuesday September 2, 2014 to buy an additional packet. The customer came back to our store an additional time on Wednesday September 3, 2014 to purchase two more packets of the product. In total, she spent $211.96. We did not influence her decision in any way to purchase the product. We only informed her of the general facts (the hair is human and can be colored). Directions for application are also provided on the packet. The company recommends that the hair be applied on thoroughly washed and dried hair. The product will not work if the hair is wet, conditioned, or supplied with oil. We also have our store policy written and taped on our cash register for customers to see. We do not exchange or give money back for products, especially if they are already used.
In summary, we understand that the customer is upset, but we do not believe we are at fault since we did not influence her decision to purchase the product.
