I am sorry that the customer is stating she is having an issue that the computer is freezing after we completed the replacement of the faulty hard drive and re-installation of the [redacted] Operating System. We ran a 5-day "stress test" from 5/18/17 to 5/22/2017 and encountered no PC or Internet "freezing" issues. Customer was allowed to Power on and test PC in office prior to pickup. Customer advised that she be experiencing an environmental issue if PC is not booting properly and shutting down properly, and that we could conduct an on-site visit at an additional charge.  This offer was denied. As recently as late August 2017, the owner met with customer in office and booted up PC with no issue and spent over an hour with customer on the PC. The only issue found was customer did not know how to resolve a minor error when trying to open a [redacted] document using [redacted].org, a FREE [redacted] compatible program.We offered some FREE training resources, but this too was rejected. We are sorry that customer is not satisfied. We are a small business, not a major corporation. We have provided many hours of help to customer issues, even though no problem has been found from three separate  experienced Computer Techs and Engineers. If customer wants to come back again, we will schedule a meeting to look at issues.

This is not true JCW Consulting did not offer me any training at all I have a text to prove what he offer he suggested that I go to the library to take a course.  As I have stated several times.  I took my computer to Mr. Joel W[redacted] because it had been freezing.  I accepted the service fee even though it was way higher than before.  My computer froze when I took it to him and continued to freeze in the same manner not once, not twice, not even three times like I actually had to drive across town to return the computer to JCW Consulting I believe 5 times if not 5 definitely 4 times and the problem persisted.Each time Mr. W[redacted] would be agitated and upset because I kept calling back letting him know the problem persisted.  I am not trying to be unreasonable but it you took your computer to a company to get fixed and paid "in full" but your computer kept freezing then that meant the company was not capable of repairing the computer.  I deserve a  refund.  No where in the world do you pay for a service when the service is not rendered.  He keeps saying he is a small business, okay how is that my problem?  Small or large the agreement was I pay you to fix my problem which was my computer kept freezing and your company fix the problem.  I called the Revdex.com because Mr. W[redacted] has not even offered a compromise.  He just continues to shove a warranty down my throat.  Well I would respect a warranty if the service was rendered.Just like he expressed he is a small business, well I am a single woman with a limited income.  I use the computer as a community service center for my neighbors who need assistance on job search, resume preparation that I do for "free".  I think Mr. Joel W[redacted] of JCW Consulting is taking advantage of me as a customer because he knows I only have limited resources.I appeal to the Revdex.com to make a fair decision on this complaint.  I at good faith took my computer to this small local business because I believe in supporting small businesses despite the fact I felt the price was too high.  I took my last saving including the $100.00 my son gave to me to get my computer fixed and JCW Consulting took advantage of me and is hiding behind a warranty and to add insult to injury he is not telling the truth about offering me computer classes.  I don't need computer classes I need my computer to stop freezing.  Then he sold me a $50.00 virus protection that hasn't protected the computer?Regards, [redacted]

refute the allegation that JCW Computer Consulting, LLC (JCWCC) owes a refund of $250.00 to Ms. [redacted]. As per our policy provided to [redacted] "All service is non-refundable."TERMS & CONDITIONS PRINTED ON INVOICE #[redacted] 4/17/2017 (Key Bullets)- Warranty Service: All hardware items carry a One (1) Year Warranty unless otherwise specified on the Invoice. All warranty service is return to depot unless specified as On-Site on the invoice.   Please consult the JCW Systems Limited Warranty Statement for JCW Systems warranty information. Please consult appropriate Manufacturer for Manufacturer Warranty procedures/service.- All service is non-refundable.- LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. In no event shall JCWCC be liable to customer for any special, direct, indirect, exemplary, incidental or consequential damages, including any lost profit or lost savings, even if JCWCC has been advised, knows or should know of the possibility of such damages arising out of or in connection with JCWCC performance hereunder or the delivery, sale, use or inability to use, or performance of the equipment and parts, or 'computer solution' provided hereunder. In no event shall JCWCC be liable for damages, based upon any legal theory, including by way of example and not of limitation, contract, warranty, or, negligence or otherwise, in excess of the amount paid by CLIENT to JCWCC pursuant to this agreement. It is the responsibility of the CLIENT to ensure that all of its files are adequately duplicated and documented. She transferred equipment to me and I took back to my office. No $35.00 Diagnostic fee / deposit was paid was paid for 2 computers. We provided Quote for repair cost for both the Laptop and Tower on 03/21/2017 including a substantial discount with total of $354.78 (Invoice #[redacted])After we ordered the needed equipment and completed work, [redacted] contacted me and alleged my tech Joshua J[redacted] repaired her laptop without her consent. I asked him  to provide the text communication to substantiate the order and he did attached. We received deposit payment of $140.00 on 4/20/17Customer picked up desktop on or shortly after 5/1/2017. She reported a problem and my techs followed up with her and asked her to bring PC in. We have performed extensive stress test in our office and were not able to duplicate problem cited by customer. Invited customer in to oversee results of testing and we demonstrated no issue found. Customer made balance payment of $220.00 on 6/1/2017Customer had a prior balance from 7/2/15 for $16.20We keep the laptop for over 30 days without the balance payment at no additional charge. When we have seen issues where a computer works properly in our office, but not at at client or customer it is typically an environmental issue. We communicated this to the customer and provided suggested remedies including: Use an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) to power the desktop or consult an electrician to verify the electrical outlets. [redacted] requested that we make a visit to her home to check her PC there at no additional charge and we said we cannot for no additional charge."All warranty service is return to depot unless specified as On-Site on the invoice"Customer continues to use a [redacted] laptop when the Operating System is defunct for 4+ years and can cause a hole in network allowing viruses / hackers to infect all computers. We advised customer but she continues to use the [redacted] laptop. I last sat with customer in my office on 8/29/2017 for over 1.5 hours to duplicate problem reported but none found. I was able to observe that customer did not know how to open word processing document from [redacted].org which is a FREE [redacted] compatible program. Additionally, I provided her help, at no charge, with a digitial camera that she did not purchase from us.
