Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 6, 2015/12/31) */ Contact Name and Title: Angela B [redacted] Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXX Contact Email: [redacted] @jdbyrider.com [redacted] purchased a Chrysler PT Cruiser from JD Byrider on 07/10/This vehicle came with a year mile limited warrantyThe Limited Warranty has a duductableThe customer came in for a service appointment on 07/17/and the Oil pressure sensor light was onThe oil pressure sensor was replaced at no charge to the customerThe deductible was not charged to herTheir was an appointment scheduled by customer for 7/30/a possiable oil leakCustomer didn't make it to the appointmentCustomer called the JD Byrider service department while in Florida and said the car drove down with minimal oil lossCalled back in a few days later stating it was loosing a lot more oil but she was out of townThe customer came in for an appointment on 08/12/The vehicle had been driven so long without oil it needed the motor to be replacedOn 08/12/The motor was replaces, Manifold Gaskets, Plugs, Drive Belt, Thermostat, Timing Belt were all replacesThe customer was provided a rental vehicle at no cost to herRental vehicles are not included in the Limited Warranty but was provided for Ms[redacted] at no cost to herThe total repairs for this were 1871.92, again no deductible was charged to Ms[redacted] 8/24/The Shift Cable and Sensor were replaces, JD Byrider provided towing to the dealership, this is not included in the Limited Warrany but was provided at no charge to Ms [redacted] and again no deductible was charged12/11/Ms [redacted] had a service appointment for Drive axle boots, at this appointment the customer was 10,miles past due for a oil changeMs[redacted] didn't' have the to do the oil change so it was done for her Goodwill at no chargeMs[redacted] did pay a deductible at this appointment12/21/Ms[redacted] had a turn signal connector replacedThis was done at no charge to Ms[redacted] Ms[redacted] has had several service appointments that have been a no show or rescheduled for the vehicleThe warranty has been honored every time even when the customer has defaulted the Limited warranty agreement by not following the required customers matiance schedule

On 8/14/Ms*** purchased a ford Focus From JS BryiderTHe vehicle had a year 36,warrantyThe vehicle was in
service on 8/12/The customer paid for the tow bill and other repairs were covered under her warranty with her paying the deductibleother that that customer has not communicated JD Bryrider, *** .........the company that financed the vehicle or anyone else in reference to a service issue with the vehicleHowever what the customer did do was stop making the contract payments on the vehicle on 2/6/and wouldn't communicate with the *** finance in ref to the past due account or the location of the propertyMs*** did communicate with her property manager, *** where customer resides and ask for the vehicle to be towed away*** said she asked sub why and sub said engine blown up and she owns it and wants it gone from there*** told sub that normally they have to give hr notice to owner and they have to pay someone to come get it and sub said she giving her permission to have it towed and *** said she never had anyone do that before and said she will have to see what the Corp that *** works for wants her to do*** said it wasn't mins later, a white tow truck pulled in and a white guy and a black guy got out of tow truck and got in this and sub came out and talked to them and they towed it*** said she don't remember name of tow truck and doubts sub would tell herMs*** must have had the car towed away to a scrap yard illegallyThis was the direct statement from the property managerCustomer claims that the vehicle broke down on Itowards Charlotte NC on 4-7-in a conversation with *** It was verified with the all police departments that the vehicle was not impounded, towed in any wayIn NC the impound or tow company is required to notify the DMV of an abandon vehicle within days and the DMV then notified the lienholder*** finance company filed to recover the property that they have security interest in : Complaint to Recover Possession of Personal PropertyThe court date was 4-14-215, Customer did not show for courtThe finance company has had nor has tried to communicate with customer Since April The customer has called and cursed and abused whoever answers the phone at JD Byrider or *** The calls have been disconnected with no return conversationThe account has been forwarded to a investigator to recover the propertyAt that point our communication ends with the customerFinal is that the vehicle may have broke down, however customer did not contact the service dept in reference to the repairs, however acted criminally and called a tow service to pick up the vehicle and stopped making payments on the car and refuses to give the location or the company who she gave permission to tow the vehicle awayWe have not contacted or attempted to contact Ms.*** since April *** still request the location of the property

At J.DByrider of Greensboro we are concerned when anyone is not happy with their purchaseWe take great pride in having a positive relationship with our customersWe have a very streamlined selling process so many of the claims in this
complaint by *** *** are not factualFirst we do not use *** as our provider of Vehicle History ReportsWe use *** which historically has more accurate Vehicle History information than *** based on our experienceThe *** report we ran prior to the sale of the Dodge Caravan in question was free of any concerns related to this vehicles historyThese reports are always available on any vehicle for saleOut of curiosity due to the claims made we purchased the *** report just like any consumer can for $and found that the accidents claimed and mileage issues were claims
The price of the vehicle is clearly stated on all paperworkThe difference between the claim of $14,changing to $27,is not accurate as wellInterest due to the Bank or Finance Company is not part of the purchase priceThe difference is the cost to borrow the funds and pay back over time and credit ratings are a huge factor in what that cost each individual
Each vehicle sold a J.DByrider of Greensboro comes with a 3yr36,mile warrantyIt is the same on every vehicle for sale and stated on the Buyer's Guides in the windows of every car on the Sales Lot
None of the claims made by *** *** can be supported with factsAfter looking into this situation in detail we are not able to assist with the desired resolutionIf anyone has any questions or concern please feel free to contact usThe paperwork that includes the Buyer's order, retail installment contract and *** are available to be reviewed

I have personally met with Ms *** in reference to her pay dates. The pay dates were adjusted to the dates she specifically asked for. We have reported to her credit in a proper manor which will reflect her pay history. We also have all service records on the vehicle to show the

Lied to about caravan and showed very vague carfax without showing wrecks and indiscripencies in mileage
On approximately may 28th we went to jd byrider to see about a carAfter asking questions for hours and sitting around waiting the salesman proceeds to tell us that we will get a free year 36,mile warranty and that with our credit we couldn't get a car anywhere elseHe also tells us if our car is being worked on we get a free loanerHe showed me a car fac which only had last oil change on itIn the closing I found out the van the salesman told me would be around $14,was actually around $27,and the warranty wasnt free and you dont get a loanerI just didnt sleep after bringing the van home so I paid $to get my own carfax only to find out the van had been in accidents and had mileage discrepancyI called back spoke to receptionist and got hung up onI cslled back got russell he was going to get chris the manager to call that never happenedI

I am rejecting this response because: I have sent my car to the service department a number of times and each time I have sent my car there I have to complain to the manager Steve because the car is still doing a whining noise as I'm driving also the current finance manager who I had to meet with different times says that he has updated the due date information however on the receipt and in their system it indicates that my payments are two to three days behind that's what it said this morning when I went in and I also have a email from someone that took a payment today and it says that my next payment date is on the 1st of June and that is inaccurate today when I made my payment the lady told me my payment was two days behind that's what their system reflects.I have spoken with different Finance managers for this company cuz they change very often and it's still saying in the system that my payments are late at this point it doesn't really matter I'm giving that the car because the company does not hold up to statements made to their customersSince October of last year I have been having the same problem with my receipt in the system telling me that my pay day is three to four days earlier than what it is so when I pay it's reflecting that I'm late also the company has not reported on my credit since March of this year I also sent the email with that information to TammyNow I why the reviews are the way they are and also the complaints

This company came and repossesed my car in February of I was told a week later that the car was never supposed to be picked upThey were very inconsistent with phone calls and following chain of command to resolve the issue I was finally told that they would return the car back to the address they picked it up from It has been almost two months now and I still don't have my vehicle The vehicle has been officially paid off and the account is closed I received my title and payment history in the mail, but still no vehicle

This company is full of scams and rude people
At this point business with you guys and providing any documents still does not get the job doneThe professional standards at this company or maybe just this location is horribleI've been going back and forth with the MANY DIFFERENT managers that have came since AUGUST So I will be returning your property between June20th and July 5thThe price is a month for a chevy aveo which is too high but based off credit so that's my fault but you guys are rude and unprofessional far as holding up to wordsince October you guys have taken my money and didn't do your part far as service within my warranty, reporting my payments monthly, and taking care of my account THAT I HAVE FULL DOCUMENTATION OF what was said to happen and WHAT ACTUALLY DID HAPPEN Thanks for the business opportunity but I refuse to keep going through thisI know it frustrates you because your in the middle but the company says one thing as you take my

warranty. The Limited Warranty has a 25.00 duductable. The customer came in for a service appointment on 07/17/2015 and the Oil pressure sensor light was on. The oil pressure sensor was replaced at no charge to the customer. The 25.00 deductible was not charged to her. Their was an appointment scheduled by customer for 7/30/2015 a possiable oil leak.
