In the case of *** ***, we have reviewed this matter with the full cooperation of the J.DByrider/*** franchise in question. Mr*** is upset regarding his account. As a result, he is requesting a refundMr*** purchased a *** *** on June 10, from the
J.DByrider franchise located in South Holland, IL. Per management, Mr***’s girlfriend made a payment towards his account on July 15, 2016. *** later received notification on September 1, that the transaction was disputed and charged back. Following no return calls and with his account in delinquent status, *** began to contact Mr***’s references on September 2, 2016. After unsuccessfully attempting to bring the account current with Mr*** and with no definitive payment arrangements, CNAC deemed the vehicle eligible for repossession on September 7, 2016. Mr***’s girlfriend then visited the dealership on September 9, in order to make a payment on the account. At that time, she was advised that the previous payment was charged back. Following a series of disputes by Mr*** and with no payments made towards the account, the vehicle was eventually repossessed. At the time of the repossession, Mr***’s account was days delinquent. J.DByrider strives to achieve the satisfaction of each and every customer. The J.DByrider/*** franchise was sorry to learn of Mr***’s dissatisfaction as expressed in his complaint to your office. Nevertheless, *** is unable to adhere to his requested resolution.
